In summary

Stoney Links Golf Club receives praise for its friendly and helpful staff, challenging course layout, and enjoyable food offerings, with particular highlights being the simulator and dining experiences. Played there over labor day. The course is dead. There's no grass on the tee boxes at all - and they haven't been properly trimmed. The greens have huge patches of dead grass. every putt is like playing plinko with the dead spots. The course has sprinklers but they are clearly not using them. Also, there's no longer food service. The kitchen is closed due to nobody being serve safe certified. Just chips and drinks. have been playing there 3 weekends per year for the last 10-15 years. On memorial day the course was excellent. $30 per person for 9 with a cart, I'd pay that gladly but there shouldn't be dandelions covering fariways and the greens shouldn't putt like fairway/fringe rough. I'm all about supporting local businesses but I won't be playing this course ever again, especially for their rates. Laughable really...I guess I can't get over the abundance of dandelions and dreadfully slow greens.

A 4 star course if they upgraded things. Challenging course that plays long. The greens are much slower than most courses which adds to the challenge. It's worth playing at least once for the experience.

Excellent day playing 18 holes. Recent rain allows a high shot to plug but greens and fairways in good shape otherwise. A fun but challenging course.

Seriously needs an irrigation system. Greens/grounds powder dry. Actually crunched when you walk on them. Not good for ball control.
