In summary

Annbriar Golf Course is highly regarded for its stunning design, well-maintained conditions, and friendly staff, making it a standout public course in the St. Louis area. The course offers a diverse layout with a more challenging back nine and is set in a picturesque rural setting, adding to its allure. While the course receives praise for its amenities and value, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional scheduling mishaps.

Hands down the best public course in the St. Louis Metro area. A Stunning design, and a certain wildness about it brings an allure that just cannot be overstated for a public course. The back 9 holes is a stretch of golf you will not soon forget. Greens are immaculate and fast even when damp.

Take a drive out to BFE and this spectacular golf course will pop up out of the farms and fields. It's amazing. Challenging and well kept. It's a course you could play every day and not get bored. Easily one of the area best public courses. A bit pricey but if you don't mind a late tee time you can grab a discounted round through golf now.

First two holes are similar and little bit blah compared to rest of the course, but after it's a great layout. A must play in the fall when the leaves are changing. Absolutely beautiful. Conditions are always among the best in St Louis. They have good food, but downtown Waterloo is less than 10 minutes away and has a couple microbrews and a great BBQ place, Shorty's.

So... you're driving away from nearly anything, and this spectacular golf course erupts among the farms and fields. It's amazing. Challenging and well kept. It's a course you could play every day and not get bored. I walked the front, the back was a more challenging walk so, I'd recommend a cart on that side.

Awesome Awesome course. The rates are very cheap for the quality of the course. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting the St Louis area. Staff is very friendly. Course is in excellent shape. Front nine plays link style and back nine has more elevation change.

Beautiful course. The front nine is relatively flat and inviting, while the back has many more elevation changes. If you’re in the St. Louis area, this is well worth going out of your way for. I can see why people come across the River from Missouri to play it.

Great course and even better staff. My best friend and I played a round midday. The gentleman in the pro shop was very courteous and chatted us up. Being 2 girls out for a round of golf without our husbands, we sometimes get a little side eye. But not here! Everyone was super sweet and we had a great round. Highly recommend!!

Great course, definitely walkable. Had a great round. Front 9 is pretty benign, back 9 is more challenging. My preference is having each side balanced in terms of difficulty but I will definitely play again if I am in the area.

Hands down the best course I have ever played that is public. There is nothing to complain about it.GPS on the cart would be nice for the blind shots you have as we hit into people in front of us but we knew them so it was in good fun. Had 12 people play for my bday and man it was a blast.

Has to be one of the best if not the best course in southern Illinois. Course is best maintained course I have played. No bare spots on tee boxes or greens . Cart paths are all in good shape . Only downside was I couldn't get a burger at 10 in the morning it was breakfast time . But the clubhouse is just as amazing as the rest of the course
