In summary

The Columbia Bridges is appreciated for its scenic layout and challenging course design, offering a mix of elevation changes and picturesque views. However, many visitors express concerns about the condition of the greens and fairways, citing issues with dryness and maintenance. Additionally, some golfers experience slow pace of play and feel that the course is overpriced given its current state.

just played on 4/9, jacked their prices up, greens are in rough condition, for the new price looks like I'll have to consider going more north Alton area for reasonable prices, should have left senior prices alone, who knows when I'll make it back, they priced me out.

Very fun, scenic course for a good price. Some greens and fairways need work but everything is playable. Some holes are very challenging. I'll be back at some point.

My golf league plays this course (back 9) weekly. Nice course and friendly staff. The view from hole #17 is very pretty.

I played here for the first time this past week. I truly enjoyed the layout and the beauty of the course. The greens have suffered from the dry weather and the course is in need of TLC.

We played today and the greens were in terrible shape and it was over priced at $50. I know it is summer and heat is a problem but then adjust the price to match the product. There was no Marshall and we quit after 12 holes because it had already taken us 3 1/2 hours to play. I would not recommend playing here unless you are desperate.

Had not played this course in over ten plus years. Last time I played it, it was still a nine hole course. They did a great job with the expansion. Some of the views from the new layout are awesome . A couple of the tee boxes were blotchy and a couple of greens had some bad spots. But with the spring weather we have had, not in bad shape at all. Will definitely be going back this year. Well it's been a year since I played it last. Use to be a nice course to play, what a difference in a year. All of the greens are in bad shape and the fairways are dusty and hard as a rock. During our league pl…

Not even worth a one star but it’s the lowest there is. Have played here many times over the past 3 years. We play all over the St. Louis area and played the Bridges today and the greens are the worst I have ever seen. Also some trees need trimming. Fairways were okay but that was the only positive. Will not play again until major improvements are made and we have a 12 man group.

Course is in great shape but BE FOREWARNED they are very very very relaxed with pace of play and stack tee times up. Be prepared for a 5 hour and 30 min round if you play on the weekend. Our 2some had a 8:40 a.m. tee time and there was a group of 12 in front of us taking their very sweet time. I recommended they pick up their pace and they heckled back at us with snide remarks. I would recommend a marshall or worker enforcing pace of play to prevent early tee times from playing 5 and 1/2 hours per round.

The fairways are in pretty good shape but a number of the greens are littered with burned patches. The 18th green is so bad there's a two putt rule circle on it.

I played Columbia Bridges before it was 18 holes. I enjoy it more now that it's 18. I enjoy the layout very much but as a golf course it's a little rough. But we always enjoy our round

Most of the greens are junk. A few are completely gone. No reduced rates for quality of course.

I don't even know where to start on this review. I would give 0 out of 5 stars if I could. The only reason I am writing this review is to warn other golfers who have not played this course to never come here. This course is in shambles... Gravel parking road (no parking lot) no practice green or place to warm up. One of the worst course designs on the front 9 that I have ever seen. I can't tell you how many balls I hit in the middle of the fairway that ended up rolling off the fairway into the woods/ random water canals that were about a foot off the fairway in the rough due the crazy amount…
