What People Say

In summary

Quail Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its beautiful layout, friendly staff, and ongoing improvements, with many noting the greens are in good condition. However, there are consistent criticisms regarding the poor state of the fairways, tee boxes, and cart paths, which detract from the overall experience. Some visitors have also expressed dissatisfaction with customer service and inconsistencies in cart rental policies.

It only cost $35 per person to play, and it was barely worth it. The course has a beautiful layout and the people are very nice that work there. The greens were in good shape, but the tee boxes were absolutely garbage. I should’ve brought a hammer to pound my tee into the ground. The fairways were sparse of grass and had several large ruts. It was almost impossible to get a good lie in the fairway. It’s really a shame that they haven’t kept the course up to its potential. The carts are equipped with a shut off if you enter a restricted area. we experienced the shutoff on the first hole just of…

Greens are good, a little slow, tee boxes are good, fairways are filling in, a lot of work going on during the day. On its way back

The employees there by far the best ever. The course is in perfect condition. They're still working hard to even make better.

Quail Creek needs to get their rules straight. My 17 year old son tried to go play a round of golf, called beforehand to make sure he could rent a cart and was told yes, if he was 16 with a valid driver's license. He shows up only to be told by the very ignorant guy working at the desk that he wasn't eligible to rent a cart because he has a Missouri Intermediate Driver's License. He then told him that Quail Creek has a rule that you cannot have any restrictions on your license but that completely contradicts their allowance of 16 year olds to drive a cart since the state of Missouri won't even…

Played Quail Creek yesterday after swearing I would never play there again. Glad I took the chance, greens are absolutely the best I’ve seen around town. Tee boxes are fantastic and fairways actually have grass. Definitely will play it more often as the price is right!

One of my favorite places to play! They have an awesome par three course! A staff member, Jerome was super nice! He gave me and my girlfriend a couple old balls he found in carts when I went into the club house to purchase balls after breaking one of my last one!

Great layout but in tough shape. Many bunkers have standing water. Fairways are a bit bare and the greens are rough. This course has a ton of potential and with some TLC it can realize that potential. I certainly hope the rumors of it's pending demise aren't true as it's one of the last St. Louis county courses around but it appears as though the writing is on the wall. Edit: this isn't a picture of a water hazard. It's a green side bunker and it hadn't rained for over a week at the time we played.

Horrible condition. Sad to play this once pristine course. 5" tall grass in the middle of the fairways. Weeds everywhere. Dirt in most fairways. Greens were just okay. Has those silly GPS carts that kill the cart power.

Fun course, challenging at times but nothing ridiculous. Well maintained and staff is friendly. Considering a golf pass or membership.

This place has changed drastically in recent months. There are so many improvements all around the course, and best of all, they are not done with improvements. Lots of dried trees have been cut off, bunkers are being worked on, and now are becoming playable. Most bunkers need new sand (that is something easily fixable), and many rough areas are being eliminated(clearing up high growing grass near the fairways). Played a 9 holes with one of the employees who works at the clubhouse and he claims that course is going to have completely new hybrid grass by the spring time including the new wateri…

The old man running your front end needs to go! Our groups stopped going there because of him and his attitude. Last time we went he denied a 16 year old with a temporary dl . Plainly said temporary because it comes in the mail. I know I’m the only one that doesn’t go there as well due to him. Time to let him go!

One of the worst courses I’ve ever been to in my life. All the people there were very rude. When we drove on the grass to get our ball. He came over and without any explanation, took our carts the we paid to use. They were also following us around the entire time just because we were younger and waiting. Also there were signs or anything saying we wernt allowed to. NEVER COMING BACK
