In summary

Columbia Golf Club receives praise for its friendly staff, fun layout, and ongoing course improvements, including new cart paths. Many appreciate the reasonable pricing and well-maintained fairways and greens, although some find the rough challenging due to weather conditions. However, there are concerns about inconsistent course conditions, slow pace of play, and occasional issues with carts and communication from the pro shop.

Don’t reccomend, over priced for terrible tee boxes, greens are absolutely destroyed with divots and giant dirt patches. Fairways are okay at best and anything in the rough you’re lying in nothing but rock hard dirt patches. Save your money go elsewhere just played today 08-24-2025 and it was terrible conditions for $50 gold

Nice course, friendly staff. I booked online and paid at the course. Early in the season and the fairways were still brown, I need to go back later to check it out during the summer.

First time playing the old course, not the last. Fairways run, greens were great for winter. The bridges seems more difficult but this course can be a challenge too. You wont get the same scenic views here, as the bridges! You guys have 2 fantastic courses here. Cant wait to come back!!

Well maintained course. Spending lots on course upgrades. Currently putting in new concrete cart paths.

Columbia is probably the worst course out of all the options in Monroe county. Grass isn’t cut, random dirt mounds everywhere. Bridges is great, well kept and very scenic.

Tyler at the pro shop was super nice guy, I was impressed with the pace to be honest I was expecting slower. Course is in good shape, the rough is tough because we’ve had a lot of rain and it’s hard to get mowers in some areas, greens were pure and quick. We had a lot of fun!

I’ve played here a number of times and have enjoyed it. The new cart paths are a plus and the future improvements coming are great. I’m glad to see money being put back into the course. In my latest round I was very disappointed in the greens. To put it simply…. They were unplayable. Aeration is a good thing but when that makes it impossible to putt that’s another.

We've played this course twice this month. I do really like the course, and $34 isn't that bad, but each time we've had a cart die on us. That alone makes us not want to come back. Golf takes long enough, we dont need to stop for 25 minutes to get a new cart.

Always enjoyed playing this course, it's a fun course, it was in good shape. The entire course was mowed well so it didn't turn into an Easter egg hunt. Had a great round too!
