In summary

Anthem Golf & Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained golf courses, stunning views, and excellent amenities, including dining options and recreational facilities. Many members and guests appreciate the vibrant community and the variety of activities available. However, some criticisms include issues with HOA management practices and inconsistencies in service and food quality at certain dining venues.

Living in this neighborhood meant living under the constant shadow of an HOA that behaved less like a community organization and more like an unpredictable enforcement machine. The leadership, especially Maria Jackson, the person responsible for issuing violations, operated with an aggressive, punitive approach that made homeowners feel targeted rather than supported. Violation notices were handed out with no consistency, no transparency, and no sense of fairness. Some residents were written up for the smallest, most trivial things, while others with the exact same issues were ignored entirel…

Lack of maintenance has created so many issues at this club corporate office won’t return calls and ignore the growing stench on the tenth hole.

We have lived here since 2017 (moved from Anthem Parkside after 17 years) and absolutely love it here! The views are awesome and I never get tired of the golf course & mountain views from my house and yard. It's very quiet here compared to our previous house. The clubhouses are wonderful, as are the activities, classes, leagues, people, etc.

Great neighborhood with active members, amazing facilities, beautiful views and incredible amenities. Championship golf, fine dining and all the member activities you would expect from a well run club.

Was lucky enough to be a guest of a member, blown away. Got to play both Ironwood and Persimmon. Both gorgeous courses. Ironwood accepted a few more golf balls than I would have liked. Service was outstanding, didn't hit a restaurant but next time. Apparently javelinas are real...

If you are looking for an active club with 2 championship courses, 2 clubhouses, pools, fitness facilities in the foothills of north Phoenix this is the place. Homes available from $200K to over $1M. Great package and place to live for the price!

Went with my sister in law. She's a member and we were treated like family. Loved the food and golf course views.

The HOA at Anthem Country Club has ramped up predatory ticketing practices under the guise of traffic enforcement. They’ve started placing guards with cameras mere feet before the speed limit increases from 25 MPH to 30 MPH, blatantly trapping residents. I was ticketed for going 31 in a 25 zone right before it switched to 30. Completely unreasonable. This isn’t about safety, it’s about revenue. The HOA is run by a public company that appears more focused on extracting profit than serving the community. Residents and guests deserve better than this kind of opportunistic enforcement.

We just joined the country club, so it was a new experience for us. There were lively groups seated all around us for prime rib night at Persimmon, and everyone seem to be enjoying their meal as much as we were. The piano music was soothing, and while it was quite loud in the room, it was very enjoyable. We hope to go back soon. :-)
