Disappointing Stay – Poor Communication & Misleading Listing We had a frustrating experience from the start. The host was unresponsive despite multiple calls and texts; we only received a reply from someone covering for her who lacked basic information about the property. The remote location has poor cell service which we were prepared for, but the Wi-Fi barely works and the host wont respond so, we had to ask another guest for the password. There’s no staff on-site, and the rooms in the main house are poorly insulated and extremely close together, offering zero privacy. We were informed jus…

Great accommodations, very clean, spacious little cabin. Worked great for my family with small children. Grounds were beautiful, lovely little dock to fish off of, very close to amenities like the park, public beach, grocery store. Loved that the rooms had a microwave and mini fridge. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely quiet small getaway to stay for a night or two. We stayed here overnight after a local area wedding. Arrived at night and room was spacious and super clean. Woke up to a beautiful view of a small lake. Would stay again when I visit Killaloe and Barry’s Bay again.

This place is an amazing little gem. Check in/out was a breeze. The private cabin had super high ceilings, a comfy bed, a/c and a great bathroom. We drove in at night and couldn't see much, but when we opened the drapes in the morning. Wow. Truly stunning.

Stayed for the night and drove the course by cart. The stay was beautiful, great views and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I didn’t come prepared to golf as staying here was a last minute plan change. The course looks amazing. Very difficult, tight lies, narrow fairways, blind greens, and some good elevation change. It looks like a ton of fun and challenge to play. For the tough weather and northern climate the course was in playable condition. Don’t expect a pristine course and some of the paths you have to take very slowly due to rough terrain, but I think that should be expected d…

Stayed here for one night. The scenary is so beautiful and calming. Our room was also really nice, clean and comfortable. We had a nice fire at night by the water and watched the stars. This place is a little hidden gem. Perfect for a short getaway to enjoy nature, swim and of course golf if you're into that.

A nice wooden apartment with nice view of the lake. That’s all. Very uncomfortable beds in the apartment 3, mattress deformed. Very limited space when accommodating 4 persons. No services, absolutely nothing in the ‘club’ but a dirty and broken pedal boat.

Beautiful resort! Spacious and quiet for 4 people. Owner is super nice and friendly. Caught a large 3lb bass in the water. Highly Recommend!

Very nice and spacious room in a wooden cabin. We liked the mini fridge. Calm outside and quite a nice view over the small lake which is right in front. There are not many restaurants in that area.

Very inexpensive and you can probably walk right on. 9 hole course. Very tight and challenging. Scenic. Bring a lot of balls because you will need them. Reasonably well maintained but they need to work harder on the greens. Several spots need repair. Extremely friendly staff. Don't expect a PGA experience but worth a quick 9. Carts are a must!

Good value for money 9 hole course. My golfing husband informs me that the fairways are narrow presenting a difficult challenge (bring many spare balls) and you can't beat the Algonquin-esk scenery particularly in the fall. Only downside is that the greens were not in great shape (and therefore extremely slow), but well worth the price!
