This is one of the nicest golf course I have ever played!!! Such an amazing experience. Being from Florida this was like nothing I had seen before. Plays the Links and Quarry. Both 9s were amazing but I lean more towards the Links, very challenging and can’t beat the links feel. The wind was blowing 20-25 MPH so make for a very fun day of golf testing your skill on an already tough course. Everything on the golf course was top notch, and a great practice facility. Most of all you can’t beat those views!!! My favorite hole was # and #4 and #7 on the links side. Most play course if you’re in nor…

The quarry/preserve was the coolest 9 I’ve played. The staff was amazing, shoutout to Gavin for cleaning my clubs after the round. This place is first class.

This is probably one of the best courses you will ever get a chance to play! From the tee box to the green! A flawless course! There is sufficient difficulty. There is sufficient enjoyment. The one thing that is consistent about this course is it is well managed. From every aspect of a healthy golf course this golf course has it. This golf course is a top 20 golf course I would put this golf course up next to any golf course for playability for aesthetics for views. This is the best gun smoking! Don’t take my word for go out to play it and you will find! This is the course you take all of your…

Gorgeous course! I honestly can’t comment on the golf because I was there to ride along with my boyfriend as he played (though he kept saying it was such a nice course, challenged by the holes, etc). We were there one an overcast misty day so it was not busy. The staff and course hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming. They let me ride along when I wasn’t really dressed for golf in flip flops. The club house was beautiful with outstanding lake views. We were able to buy sandwiches and hot dogs at the turn. Beverage cart checked in on us a couple times. Really lovely experience.

Beautiful course, originally scheduled to play preserve/quarry, ended up being switched to links/quarry instead. Greens were in excellent condition, very nice carts and great practice facilities. I look forward to playing here again!

Incredible views on a top 100 golf course in the nation! This club is spendy but it feels like you’re playing along the ocean when you’re playing Links. Stunning views, would love to play again.

Me and my family went to this golf course on a golf trip. When we arrived, we ate lunch and had some wonderful sandwiches with a great view of lake michigan. When we got to warm up, the range and putting green were top notch. We played the links-quarry and this was the best experience i’ve ever had in my life. The course conditions were insanely good, and on the links course, almost every hole was next to lake michigan. The quarry course is also amazing. You are literally playing golf on a mine and it’s wonderful. Greatest golf course i’ve been to.

Course conditions were very good and views are beautiful. Only 1 restroom on the Quarry and you only pass it once. Both courses have a lot of "target" holes with a number of blind shots. No food or beverage available at the clubhouse prior to our round at 10:30. Rangers are always watching and on you constantly even though you're on the heels of the group in front of you. You are not allowed to stop at the clubhouse after the first 9. Didn't feel the course is worth paying full price of $175, so I'm glad we only paid $75. Hills course was more enjoyable, moved faster, and rangers were present…

Absolute gem. Played all over private clubs in Arizona, top courses in Scottsdale, illinois, vegas, Florida. This is at the absolute top. Top quality, top course design, views. Absolute can't miss. Gorgeous. 10 stars.

Very much enjoyed the Links course. It is challenging with narrow fairways, blind tee shots, uneven lies, and undulating, true greens. The Quarry was a very different 9. It was also challenging but moreso due to length of shots into greens with forced carries, often with no bailout. The Quarry course is not as forgiving. Both courses have breathtaking views. The staff was courteous and helpful. Overall a fun day despite the rain and wind.

No golf trip to Northern Michigan is complete without a visit to Boyne Resorts near Petoskey, MI. In my mind, no other Michigan golf resort offers the variety of golf courses that Boyne has. Golfers have the opportunity to play ten uniquely different golf courses; stay in a variety of accommodations designed to meet anyone’s needs and dine at some incredible restaurants. Recently, I was able to play several courses in the Boyne Resorts lineup including my favorite course, Bay Harbor. Bay Harbor may well be the crown jewel of the Boyne courses. This Arthur Hills masterpiece offers 27 holes tha…
