I visit with friends who are members and I must say, for the fees that people pay just to use the pool in the summer you would think that they would use that money to upgrade bathrooms, maintain landscaping around the building, fix the kiddie pool (which hasn't been of any use the past few times ive been) and perhaps pave the parking lot. After all, it is a COUNTRY CLUB.

Bedford Country Club is one of the lesser know golf courses in the Lynchburg area. The course is a private 9 hole layout featuring small greens and is fairly forgiving off the tee. The course was in great shape and I was treated kindly by the members and staff during my round. If you get the chance to play this course it’s definitely worth playing.
