In summary

Belle River Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable pricing, and scenic setting along the river. The course layout offers a good challenge, and the new golf carts and clubhouse amenities, including food, receive positive remarks. However, many visitors express concerns about the condition of the tee boxes and fairways, as well as the slow pace of play and overbooking, which can detract from the overall experience.

My husband and I decided to try Belle River Golf Course after purchasing certificates on a golfing website. We checked in, the young man at the desk was very pleasant and friendly. We got our cart, which was nice and new, and headed to the first hole. We also noticed that carts were stacked about 6 deep waiting to tee off at the 10th, and felt kind of bad for those golfers. We hit off the first tee with no issue. Got to the second tee, and caught up with the foursome ahead of us. This is how the remaining 8 holes went...waiting for the foursome. We would finish the previous hole, and get to th…

Would give 0 starts if possible. I have been to courses from Chicago all the way to Myrtle Beach on the east coast. Never have I seen a golf course cancel their morning tee times due to “the weather” when it’s 50 degrees out in mid November. They offer early tee times and no where on the website does it say they will cancel the tee times if it’s not at least 60 degrees out. Was on the way to the course when I got a simple text saying they cancelled my tee times. No call, no warning the night before. I booked 3 days in advance and at no point was I told it could be cancelled even though it’s th…

I was considering getting my husband and my brother a year pass, but honestly after the last four times we’ve gone there It is not worth it. The course is pretty enjoyable, they take great care of the grass all the way around. the carts you can purchase snacks and drinks from are well maintained, the new golf carts are awesome. The price is a great deal. The negative part is they are stacking their games like crazy. Every hole we were waiting for at least 2 groups. The first 9 took us 3 1/2 hours. For a single golfer. We said something the second time it happened.. it’s now twice more since Ju…

Could be a nice place to play.. The tee boxes are destroyed. Fairways are like concrete. The greens are the only part of the course that looks to have been watered at all (?) There is a large pond with a pump house so we could not understand the lack of watering. Plenty of golfers on the course so they are generating revenue. This course is just not being properly cared for.

Great round of golf at a great price! Pace was just fine on a Wednesday morning and conditions were much nicer than expected. Greens and tee boxes (at least women’s) were well managed! Layout of the course is nice with just enough challenge. Carts are brand new. Would recommend!

Gannon I think was the young man's name that let us off last minute (thanks!). Never played here before so didn't expect anything. What a surprise. Greens were quick and held. Course was held together. Pace was whatever (we were a 2some) so can't really comment. Given the prices overall and the staff (awesome, friendly, welcoming), and the course, I'm shocked I've never been here. I'm not leaving this review under duress.

Stopped in for a quick dinner and ended up staying a couple hours! Everyone was so inviting. We stayed for Karaoke and had a great time chatting with everyone. Drinks were great, food was wonderful. Great local spot to visit, we were impressed all the way around.

It's okay. But nothing special. Fairways are not very distinct.. Greens were in very good shape.

Played this course since I was a kid. But the owners are great people. Mike was awesome. And they don't charge 70 bucks a round. Do yourself a favor and play here. Course is hard (literally) and the tee boxes do suck but i think they are fixing them. Everything else was great including the glizzy.
