Their trackman is really cool. They have games on it that are fun. You can also set it to tell you how far the ball would've gone of it wasn't a range ball.

Unforgettable Day at Black Bear Golf Club – Crystal Springs Resort, NJ I recently had the pleasure of attending a corporate golf outing at Black Bear Golf Club, one of the standout courses at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey. I attended with my father, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were in for something special. The event was exceptionally well-organized from start to finish. As we pulled into the lot, we were greeted by friendly staff who directed us with ease and efficiency. Upon checking in, we received a beautifully put-together gift bag stocked with p…

I revisited a golf club with my golf group, known for its beautiful scenery. The weather was perfect, the course was in great condition, and it turned out to be a very satisfying day.

I won't be coming back. Lots of blind shots, elevated greens, really sharp slopes off the greens. the carts are the SLOWEST I've ever seen...literally almost died on several hills. The course is in decent condition, though the greens, while generally well maintained, were very inconsistent in speed. Poor sand traps. While the front 9 was a decent layout, the back 9 is a pure joke. Don't waste your money nor time playing here.

Great golf course in Jersey! Well kept and level of difficulty is medium. A lot up and down in the hills that make it very nice and challenging. Recommended!

Check-in at Black Bear Golf Course was a breeze with helpful and friendly staff ready to answer all my questions. The course itself is well-kept and extremely fun to play, although getting from hole to hole can be a bit confusing at times. The cart girl comes by frequently and is always helpful and a pleasure to deal with. After the round, the bar was excellent. I highly recommend the Black Bear Burger—it definitely hit the spot. Overall, a fantastic golfing experience with just a minor navigational issue. getting from hole to hole can be confusing.

Went to Black Bear for a vacation and mostly everything I experienced was 5 star. The golfing was great. Done some skeet shooting for the 1st time and found out that my son was as good of a shot as I am. They have a glow ball put put course right outside the hotel. The pool is awesome with hot tubs included. That gaming area and basketball court is tops. Plenty plenty to do. There restaurant called Kites and if you want to eat there you need to have reservations to eat so you will be turned away to book for a later time if available. The food tasted great BUT it took OVER AN HOUR to get our fo…

First of all the tee boxes on every hole are trashed and on slopes. Not where you expect for $130 round of golf. The greens were not in bad condition but not great condition. Rangers every 3 to 5 holes telling you you’re behind speed up while we’re waiting at every single tee shot in all par threes. Waiting on par fours for The Group to clear to the point where actually ruining your experience on the golf course. If they can’t see you waiting on every part three to hit and they shouldn’t be telling you to speed up? Plus 6 permanent holes cart path only. You don’t need 8 or 9 rangers on the cou…

Fairways were first cut short rough length. Tee boxes are in horrendous conditions. Each one is crowned and there’s very few flat spots on any of the tee boxes. Greens were OK. They were surprisingly smooth but on the slower side. 75% of the bunkers are packed down mud. 25% are spectacular with crystal white sands. Doesn’t make sense why some bunkers are treated like actual bunkers and others are just mud. The map driving range area was closed for repairs so they opened up the grass hitting area. Good luck, finding a patch of grass to hit more than three or four iron shots. Literally the whole…

Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Rough is lush & thick. You better be hitting the ball straight to score well. It seems many of the bunkers have had their drainage renovated and gotten new sand too. Extremely nice bar/grill room with an outdoor barbecue too. Overall, an extremely nice public course, but pricey, unless you have one of the available memberships.

Amazing course. Conditions are amazing, pace of play is always kept relatively great. Staff is friendly and helpful. The bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat when finished with round.
