Bretton Woods Golf Course

If you are lucky enough to get in here, you'll love it. I was told that the World Bank opened this place in the late 1960s because their Black colleagues were not allowed into the usual DMV golf clubs because of the color of their skin. Today, whether or not you golf, it's a great place to hang out- if you are a member or friends of one

Drove two hours to get there to teach painting to 60 guests at a corporate event, I spent hours to set up perfectly, guests were happy with the class, and I event left paint kits to late comers out of my own pocket- result: no tips, and left a 8/10 review to my employer ( I have never gotten any review less than 10/10) the David guy who works there is just a jerk.

I was a guest and on my visit found the staff at the pro shop and driving range to be personable and friendly. The course is well-maintained and has character with elevation changes and undulations but is also somewhat similar to a public course with forgiving out of bounds areas. If you have sharp eyes you won't lose many balls. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the service and food were quite good.

Love the international vibes at this World Bank Group club. Top ratings for easy-access and ease-of-use, for their driving range. There is also access to walking paths down by the C&O Canal.

Lovely pool and other facilities!

The golf course is in great shape. A fun course to play. All the staff is very helpful, and the pro shop is excellent.Food service can get a little slow during peak hours. Highly recommend overall.

Had a great day at a very nice venue. Course in excellent shape. Buffet was best that I have had . Felt very welcomed throughout visit. Hope to make it back soon.

Terrible service. Was incredibly rude and condescending to me and my family. They were not providing any reasons for why we were getting such treatment and were incredibly ableist to a family member that had medical needs. Ruined our holiday. Please consider having events elsewhere if you are in a big group.
