Had a fantastic round at Camelback Golf Club during our Scottsdale trip. The setting alone makes it special — incredible views of Camelback Mountain and classic desert golf scenery all around. The course was in excellent condition, with beautifully maintained fairways and fast, true greens. Overall course was in great condition and views were nice. Main reason for the low rating is pace of play. My buddy and played this course around Noon on a Friday, the Ambiente. They failed to disclose the course double booked a scramble thirty minutes before our tee time, front nine took 3 hours and 30 minutes, and total round came in right under 6 hours!! Best part, we saw the Marshall several times and asked him for an update, to switchover to the second course or some type of credit, versus simply shrug his shoulders and said nothing I can do.. very disappointing, especially for a course t…

I have three times played Camelback GC, Ambiente all three times. I really like the course and its conditions. Greens/tee boxes are in good shape and the driving range is good as well. Two big negatives, the price! Yesterday I paid $368. C’mon man! It’s nice but you are not We Ko Pa!! Secondly, and most aggravating, the pro shop staff. All three times, the staff is unfriendly (tall thin kid) and disinterested in being helpful or courteous. For $368, I would expect more. If you hate the service industry, go be a coder somewhere. We played camelback Ambiente course the second day of a big group golf trip. First off, the staff here is top tier, super professional and so friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Dan for running out some extra waters and hydration packets on an unseasonable hot day. The practice facilities and course were outstanding and well worth the cost of the round. Our group had a ton of fun and made some unforgettable memories. Huge thanks to the entire staff at Camelback for everything! Highly recommend a day at Camelback!

The course is extremely well maintained from tee to green! Played Padre and enjoyed it thoroughly! Service from the moment we walked in by everyone was top notch. Will definitely play again.!

Came with a group of 8 for a bachelor party and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Food, drinks, and staff were all great. Didn’t hurt that the course couldn’t have been in better condition either, would highly recommend.

Beautiful, fun and challenging course in excellent condition. Service from cart staff and the cart girl was great. Unfortunately the service in the clubhouse after the round was terrible. We were a group of 6 and waited over 35 minutes before walking out because no one ever came to acknowledge us.

Played the Ambiente course 4 days after it re-opened from summer maintenance. You would never know it. The entire course was in very good shape tee to green. The Ambiente has a a bit more links feel to it’s sister,the Padre course, at least as much as you can get in the desert. Be prepared for some big and deep bunkers, especially greenside. If you are not a fair bunker player, play the Padre course. Couple of items to note are that the 9th hole does not take you back to the clubhouse, you won’t see it till you finish. There are plenty of restroom facilities, and water stations on the course…

Played the Padre course. Course was in good condition. Sand traps ate my ball on numerous holes on the front 9 - a bit frustrating but once I changed my strategy, I scored much better. Staff, starter, marshal were all friendly and sociable. Got paired up with a great guy from Texas and had an enjoyable round.

Had a okay time yesterday. The course is great, my problem has to do with the lack of thoughtfulness from the staff. The range closed very early without any notice to us. Even checking in, paying for the round, they told us nothing until I had to ask what the range situation was. We had a 2:00 tee time, should’ve been easy enough to get all 18 in, but coming down the stretch the golf outing in front of us decided to group up together and play 8 man to a hole (see pictures). We never saw a Marshall all day monitoring for pace of play, and it showed. Course was fun, but unfortunately spoiled…

Course was great, starter was really nice, I asked him if he knew starters were supposed to be mean. Everyone there wanted to make sure we had a great round. Greens were fast and true. Wasn’t in a hurry but it was a nice pace for resort golf, finished in 3:40.

One of the best golf experiences I’ve had. The course is beautifully maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The scenery is stunning, and the pace of play was perfect. Everything felt top-notch, from the practice areas to the clubhouse. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.
