Gainey Ranch Golf Club

I had a chance to play here. We played the Dunes and Arroyo. Both 9’s were immaculate. They looked tournament ready. We never saw a ranger but it was unnecessary. We played as a foursome in a bit less than 4 hours from a 9:06 tee time. Both 9’s had several interesting holes. The greens were very quick but smooth. If I had to nitpick, the practice tees were on mats. Doubt I’ll ever get another opportunity to play there but it was great.

What separates a clubhouse from clubbing to house? About six gin and tonics, a strict dress code, and significantly more judgment when you miss the beat—or the green. Gainey was an experience—a gentle wind tousling my hair like a shampoo commercial, the satisfying clink of a 3-putt, and the constant existential crisis that is my pitching wedge. Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale is exceptional. My wife and I joined two years ago and love the outstanding hospitality. Staff work tirelessly to make us feel valued, meeting every need. Top-notch food, responsive wait staff, helpful pro shop team, and friendly beverage cart crew led by Elise. . They remember our names and serve us promptly. Grounds crew keeps the course pristine. Proud to host guests. Fantastic! Keep up the good work.

Beautiful! We had graduation for our small private school here! Everything was very classy and nice! We had a dinner after - well catered and delicious! Would recommend this place!

The food here was very good. Unfortunately due to the nature of the visit which was a Celebration of Life event, by the time I sat down to eat my food it was cold. The items that were not cold were very delicious and the dessert was devine. The wait staff was fabulous as well.

First course I've played in Phoenix. Course was immaculate, even after just having came out of overseeding. Pro shop and outside ops staffs were very friendly and professional. Gorgeous club house with great balcony seatings overlooking the golf course. The range was all grass with clean Titleist balls. Greens were rolling about 9.4. Looking forward to playing here again when the greens are perfect.

An absolutely phenomenal golf course. A very welcoming staff. And a Members Only bar that makes the best spicy jalapeño margaritas in all of Phoenix. We can’t wait to come back again

An incredible overall Golf Club. The clubhouse is newly renovated with a great new bar that looks out onto the golf. Inside the food and service is world class. The course consists of three 9's, each with its own character and in great condition. The grass is green the bunkers are fluffy and the greens roll true. My only wish was that it was longer, that's about it.

Randy Wittig was so awesome in giving a lesson to our kids. So much patience and thoughtful teaching. Great time!

Great hospitality and wonderful layout. Definitely play The Lakes 9. You will love 7, 8, and 9. Also make sure you look for the bald eagle that lives near 8 green and 9 tee box.

Course is absolutely beautiful. Most staff is very nice but not all. We had a slow group in front of us and we got blamed for playing slow and because of the accusations despite us pleading that there was a slow group in front of us, we switched to a best ball format and didn’t get to relax. Then we were even waiting behind a single. After the round the Marshall apologized but the damage was done. I don’t get to vacation much and it’s a shame the Marshall didn’t believe us until the end and that after calling, the course didn’t care or try to make this right. I don’t recommend.
