In summary

Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, enjoyable course layout, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for both local and visiting golfers. Many find the course in good condition with fast greens and nice views, though some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play and course maintenance. Additionally, there are occasional challenges with the booking system and unexpected fees, which have led to mixed experiences.

Nice course overall. Some of the greens are a little bare in spots, but most are good. Fast, but roll true. Not an exceptionally difficult layout, but some holes are a nice challenge. Staff was great. Saw some complaints about cash only, but it was only for the beverage cart on the course. Bar took a card. Would definitely play again.

Super fun course. I actually like it more than McCormick ranch. The staff were super friendly. We had a great round on Thanksgiving. Day.

Great staff, tasty grub, and course is hard as hell. No range but they have some swing nets which helped shake off that rust. They have bathrooms around the course so don’t water their plants!

Played here while on a bachelor party to Scottsdale and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. We played at 7:40 and 7:50 AM and the staff was very accommodating for our two groups. Course was in fantastic shape. Fast greens and nicely mown fairways. The views were great too. The course is reasonably priced for Scottsdale in peak season (I think we paid ~$170 a man). Course is forgiving enough for beginners and novices to enjoy but provides enough difficulty and risk/reward opportunities to challenge the better golfers. Would love to play here again on my next trip to Scottsdale.

Great bang for buck course! My friend and I booked a last-minute tee time. Silverado cannot be compared to other resort courses in the area, both design and quality wise, but a solid course for the money. By no means is this course in perfect shape, but for what you pay, you get a quality course and service. A shorter layout, good course to work on your irons, or you can go low if you’re hitting your driver. Definitely will play again when in the area.

I golfed here today and it was a really poor experience. The course is in terrible shape. The ground is as hard as asphalt, there was debris all over tee boxes and greens, and it was the slowest round of golf I’ve played in years. We left after 9 holes because it took 3 hours and that’s not an over-exaggeration. On their website, the state they don’t allow anything more than foursomes and that everyone must adhere to a 4 hr pace of play. There was a group of 5 ahead of us and a group of 8 a few groups later. We had numerous clog ups where we finished a hole and didn’t tee off for another 20 mi…

Beautiful course with an incredible view. We had 3 foursomes go out for a bachelor party and the course handled it very well! Awesome time

I had the pleasure of golfing Silverado this week. Course was in fantastic shape and the locals were so friendly and helpfull. Every staff member I interacted with was so outstanding. Not the hardest course I've played but rewarding none the less. 18th hole is as pretty as any finishing hole I've seen.

It was great until the last 4 hole. The foursome in front of us just didn't care that it was back up. There were a foursome behind us and another foursome behind them that quit. Meanwhile, the foursome in front of us is a hole or 2 behind. Nobody was in front of them. None at all, to be fair. There was a Marshall, but I don't think those guys listened. Lack of etiquette. Hopefully, our next experiences will be much more pleasant. Shout out to Ivan and his grandson from Iowa. It was a pleasure playing with you both.

This IS 'The Friendliest' golf operation I have attended this 2025! No one gets a 5 star from me > unless ALL my criteria has been met ! Gabe - he didn't know me at first - is kind AND helpful. These employees [ALL I have met] are serving "Customers FIRST" ! They ask me questions - they suggest helpful solutions and "Go the extra mile". I will ALWAYS play here during my months ! YOU TOO !!

Really enjoyed this course. A good test of golf that won’t beat you up. Great conditions and super pleased with the pace of play. The folks who work there are welcoming and helpful.

Not a fan of this course. What I can say is the course is in pretty good condition. When we played there the course had flooding so it was cart path only. That didn’t stop them from charging $230 a person oh but you get a free hat you will probably never wear. There is a bike/walking trail around the perimeter of the course. On many holes it’s fairway then Cart path then biking trail. So don’t hook your ball left you just might hurt a pedestrian. I just can’t recommend this course to anyone I think it is overpriced and the constant annoyance of pedestrians is not for me.
