In summary

Candlewood Golf Course was appreciated for its affordability, ease of play, and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a suitable spot for beginners and those looking to practice their short game. While some found the greens to be in rough condition and noted the absence of par 5 holes, the course was generally well-regarded for its upkeep and local ownership. Unfortunately, the course has since closed, leaving many patrons saddened by its loss.

Golf Course is Shut Down Hello everyone, May 24, 2019 Dropped in to play a round and discovered the course was unkept and a sign on the door stating Course Closed No Trespassing It appears that after 80+ years Candlewood Golf Course has gone the way of Lakeview Golf Course in Wenham and Middleton Golf Course in Middleton. It is sad to see the small courses closing.

Super easy, flat. Good for the wallet, and the owners are local. Good upkeep and a nice new website. No tee times required.

Cheap enough. No par 5's and some of the greens are pretty rough but overall ok for a quick round.
