In summary

Castle Rock Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and enjoyable course layout, which offers a mix of challenging and character-filled holes. Many visitors appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the course's ability to accommodate both experienced and casual players. However, some reviews mention issues with fairway conditions, irrigation, and occasional slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

Nice course and great greens. The greens were large and had some movement. It has some nice character holes like #2, #3, #10, #13 and #18. Super friendly people and the facility was very clean. Some tough lies when played in early Spring. It was better than expected.

I picked the good photos but there are irragtion issues at work here both too much in places and not enough in others. I will say I had alot of fun and everyone was pretty chill. The tees are tight so if your game far exceeds your partners it can make for a long day. I saw a lot of younger people here later which indicates a heathy and tolerate membership pool. Price a little high, hope they dye the ponds too. It is a neat layout that encourages you to make decisions to go for it or lay up so that was fun. Greens a bit slow but in good condition.

This course was fun to play! Unfortunately, the fairways were incredibly beat up when I was there. Lots of big dirt holes and grass damage on the fairways. The greens were super nice and the carts were in great condition. Overall, the course is fun to play with some areas of improvement needed on the fairways specifically. Price is also high for the course condition when I was there.

Golf course was in decent shape. Couple of greens were alittle rough and some ruts in the fairway. Fun course to golf, would definitely go back. Friendly staff!

During a Florida to Canada road trip I was in Wisconsin for the first time, ahead of schedule, and wanted to play 9 holes. After being turned away at one public golf course I called Castle Rock. From the first interaction to the last, everyone I encountered was excessively friendly and helpful. 45 minutes later I arrived and rented a set of clubs, and was told the large group by the first tee knew I would be a single walking and would wait. The next two hours were glorious! Course was in great shape, greens quick and smooth. Very affordable! Highly recommend especially due to the friendly peop…

Only thing keeping it from a 5 is a ranger and bev cart, we were 50 minutes behind place on 9. However, staff is great, course is well maintained and fun holes. Fair price. I'll be back

A decent value course with less people traffic than the Dells or other area courses. Mature and pretty easy play overall. Went after some rain and had some standing water. Used most of a bottle of bug spray, but survived. Will return.

Ok clubhouse and a decent established course. Clubhouse was mediocre in my opinion. Staff was nice with an ok bar area. Rates were not too bad too play for the course quality. While it was early season, ground terrain was a little rough in the fairway where this was a bit more of a northern grade course. Great established trees and hazards placed in interesting areas. Sand traps were in decent shape. Some fairways were tight that required decent ball control off the tee. Layout wise would've like number 10 better to not round the midsized driving range. But overall a decent course for the area…

WHAT AN AWESOME COURSE AND STAFF/OWNERS! The owners and staff make you feel like family. It’s the little personal things they do for you here that really makes you want to come back. The course is flawless and in fantastic shape even in this summers drought. Got a walking membership this year, but buying a full membership for my wife and myself next year!!! Thanks Molly, Jodi, Jim and all the great staff!!

I frequent this golf course every summer and always have phenomenal service from the ladies who run the place. However, Jim was the only one working today and had an terrible attitude as soon as we walked in. We were early for our Tee Time - 10 minutes to be exact, and weren’t allowed to purchase drinks because he forced us out to the tee box immediately. He told us we would have to push back our start time half a hour if we wanted beverages. Never greeted us, said thank you for your business, or had small talk. Terrible experience but we know this is only due to Jim and not the other staff. I…
