In summary

Cherryville Country Club is praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained fairways, and enjoyable amenities, including a pool and dining options. The club is noted for its welcoming atmosphere and is a popular venue for events, such as weddings, due to its picturesque setting and quality catering services. However, some visitors have mentioned that the facilities could use modernization, and there have been concerns about accessibility for beginner golfers and the condition of the parking lot.

Staff are selective on who plays here. I am a beginner level player and I was denied from playing here and was told to come back during the week because of a new rule. I understand that there are rules in place, but denying a new player from playing on their course is not right to me, especially on a first come, first serve course and I showed up early in the morning but still denied. I was thinking of becoming a member since I live 2 minutes away but I guess they are selective of who plays here. Not sure if I would be going back here again which is unfortunate.

Dan Arthurs and the Cherryville Golf and Country Club catered and provided rentals for my wedding and all I can say is WOW! It was truly fabulous. Dan turned my grandmother’s garden into a complete wedding venue. I knew when I decided on an outdoor reception at the house, that it would be risky. We had never had an event of this scale there before and I didn’t know quite how to picture it. I described that I wanted simple, southern elegance and Dan pulled it out and made it perfect! We booked him for the full meal – passed hors d’oeuvres, a served salad, buffet dinner, and four bartenders. T…

A great local place to see old friends and make new ones. Small town personal service with a surprisingly good selection of menu items. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

My husband and I were going to join when we moved down here but the pavement and parking lot are awful but mostly it’s because the inside looks like the set of Dallas exploded. This place needs serious upgrades out of the 1980s. Food’s ok though.

This place is a great value. It requires some shot making. It challenges a mid handicapper to be precise with irons. A big drive isnt necessary to score here. Just be precise. Very underrated.

Tough 9-hole course soon to be 18. Friendly pro shop. Fairways and greens are a bit rough, but I enjoyed the round.

Nice enough course to have fun, good pool that isn't too deep for little kids, and good but often pricy food. Overall a good place.
