In summary

Kings Mountain Country Club is praised for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout, particularly on the back nine, which provides a good balance of difficulty and forgiveness. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions, such as muddy fairways and a lack of a driving range, as well as occasional problems with pace of play and booking procedures.

Overpriced and under construction. Save your money till its done and in better shape. Fairways are mud.

Excellent greens. Excellent fairways, some almost as good as hitting off greens. Back nine much more difficult. Mostly blind tee shots. When you play a course with the word “mountain” in its name then I guess you could expect this.

Sunday our church group got a couple of guys together. When I'm played the course at king's mountain Country Club 1st time I've ever been there. The course is a challenging course. And actually is very fast. It was a great time disband with great people. And time around the golf course is pretty average. I would definitely say if you can play this course.

The course was in great shape like always! In my opinion, best course for the money in the Charlotte metro area! Yesterday, we arrived for our tee time and weren’t on the list. We were told that the morning was blocked of for a group. The gentleman at the desk, Derrick, worked with us and allowed us to start off on #10. He and Linda were so friendly and accommodating! Thank you!!!

Wanted to still leave a good rating because everything ended up working out in the end (and the course is in good shape) but the experience started out quite negative. Booked a hot deal on golf now as a solo, upon arrival I was told I would be paired up with a threesome which is completely fine and I would also need to ride in a cart with one of them. I then asked if there was an extra fee I could pay to get a cart by myself bc I had brought a non golfing rider with me. I was then berated by the lady working the pro shop counter, she was adamant that it was clearly stated on golf now that ride…

Played 9 today with my 9yo daughter. Was charged 40$ then rushed off the first tee just to run into another group. People come here to relax and play golf, not to be rushed off the first tee and feel like a burden to the club house. Especially if I’m paying 40$ for 9 holes as a single.

3.5 course extremely tight layout between holes.Same cart path used for multiple holes, bunkers are pretty good shape, greens are fast and true. They definitely need a ranger or not let so many 5 somes on Saturdays. 5 hour round luckily thete is a breeze

Had an enjoyable round here. Conditions were pretty good. Very reasonable price. Had gas carts with no GPS. Greens were smooth and pretty fast. Fairways were good also. Only got to play 9 holes. I'd go back.

Good food and cold beverages at good prices. Pool is nice with a diving board. Golf course has a good balance of challenge and forgiveness. Greens and fairways are well maintained.

Definition of a dog track. When you pull up and see more dirt and dead grass then you do green, it's time to go home. NO DRIVING RANGE, well below average conditions and a below average practice area.

Only getting one star because I can’t rate it a zero. First off, guy said everyone pays the same price even if they don’t get a golf cart. $60 per person is ridiculous. Second, god forbid you fall 5 minutes behind their estimated time to complete a hole. They want to have police escort you off just for that. Won’t be going back and will definitely be telling anyone I know not to as well.
