In summary

Cleveland Country Club receives high marks for its well-maintained greens and overall course condition, with players appreciating the challenging yet enjoyable layout. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and hospitality, and the club offers a variety of events and dining experiences that are well-received. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the restrictions on non-member dining and the condition of certain fairways and rough areas, as well as occasional issues with pricing and member interactions.

Greens are very good, which is what saves the course. Fairways are in complete disarray. Even good tee shots are laying on dirt in the middle of where fairways should be. The edges of the fairway are pretty much all rocks and roots. The greens make it an okay play, but there are plenty of better options

Best greens u will find anywhere, fairways cut pristine. Cart paths are very rough, but bunkers were in very beautiful condition. The rough is way too high.Very nice electric carts with coolers.Id like to see better selection in pro shop and snack and bigger cold sandwiches. The pro shop guy was very friendly but no one is sure wether golfnow players can dine in at the bar and grill above proshop. It looked and smelled really nice but wasnt very inviting but would definitely help the revenue of the course.Course is tight but alot of fun and for the $27 on golfnow was an absolute steal.

Played on Saturday (July 26, 2025). Around 2pm on the 5th hole, a woman maybe between 50-65 years old hits into us. She then proceeded to say “ I’m a member here, I can do what I want. Y’all can wait and I’ll play through” . After she hit, she yelled at us and said “I play from the fairway and y’all can stay in the woods”. Horrible experience as that was our first time playing at the course. We we’re highly disrespected by a member and couldn’t enjoy the rest of the round.

You should know that the review left by TShep704 is for likes. The fairways are not bare, his photos are from hole 12 where yes it is bare but, that is not the fairway. Another picture is from hole 6 which is also NOT the fairway. The one fairway pic he shows is the 14 where the white paint is outlining the repair. Lastly, it looks like he played the course in the offseason when southern grass is dormant. The greens, fairways and bunkers are always in great shape. There certainly are areas of the rough that are in bad shape. In the last 2 months a ton of tree work has been done to help with t…

Our family loves Cleveland County Country Club. The staff is so friendly, the food is the best around, the golf course is beautiful, and the entire club is kid-friendly! You have to try brunch!

Non members can't eat at the club house. So they will take your money to play, but you cant eat at the turn. Absolutely no one in the club house and they would not allow us to eat. They do not provide any place to eat.....so pack sandwiches I guess. Stupidity is on Par at this course. They act like they are Augusta National with the rules.....dont waste your money on this place. Played at way nicer courses, and the level of disrespect towards non members was unbelievable. Why even open play to non members if you can't allow access to the club house? The Manager was sitting an her butt on the b…

Worst customer service and hospitality I have ever dealt with. Played out here and at the turn we decided to go in and get some food. Well turns out even though they allow you to play golf, non-members aren’t allowed to eat there or even food Togo. In the pro shop all they had for food was cracker a couple bags of chips and a few candy bars which is a joke. I had to argue for 20 mins with the manager of the grill which is by far the rudest lady I’ve ever met. Do yourself a favor and never venture to this absolute clown show of a country club. They think it’s Augusta National……. News flash Augu…

Was able to play this gem through golfnow. I wish more private clubs would give the public a chance to play their course. Everything was in great shape....actually had grass in the fairways where the ball sat up nicely. Greens rolled fast and smooth. The back 9 is a lot harder than the front but both were a challenge. I will most definitely be back to play here again. Thank you and keep up the good work. Update....I'm in a golf group consisting of about 15-20 guys...and we always play on Tuesday usually. We were able to play there one time and everyone loved it. They charged us a flat rate of…

They did an great job with the remodeling her. Food was buffet style and it was excellent, topped off with a fantastic bananas foster. Service and staff were wonderful. Although this was a private event I am sure the dinners here must be excellent.
