In summary

Cloverleaf Golf Course is praised for its affordability, well-maintained greens, and interesting layout that offers both beginner-friendly and more challenging holes. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, charming setting, and recent improvements such as updated golf carts and enhanced food options at the clubhouse. However, some criticisms include the condition of the fairways, lack of adequate signage, and occasional slow pace of play.

Prices are extremely cheap for how nice the course is kept. The greens are so fast and challenging. The island par 3 is wicked hard. The addition of the new on board screens are top teir. Spicy chicken sandwich and chips were absolutely worth $5

A North American well kept secret. This is actually the very first Golf Course ever constructed in the US exclamation point used to be a dairy farm and the owner turned it into a golf course in the 1900s. Has a very quaint and useful Banquet Center with bar. Great place if you need to book a gathering or reception. Great customer service. Bartender is awesome! 👍🏾😊

I can't overstate how great of a value this course is. It has an interesting layout with unique holes. The greens were in superb shape, and the tee boxes were good too. The fairways could use some work, but they probably just need some rain. This place is a gem.

Online portrayed that there was plenty of time either side of the tee time, but continuously had another group trying to take their tee shots while we were taking our second shots never played through but would just sit one hit behind the whole time and the fairways are frankly disappointing. The greens and tee boxes were ok. The signage on the holes telling you distance and layout was extremely lackluster and impossible to read.

Had a lot of fun playing the course. The course had dried out a lot like every other course I've played this year. This may have been the worst weather conditions I've seen in many years. March, April, May and June-rain, rain, rain!!! July, August and September near drought conditions. The only vegetation growing are WEEDS!!! Grass has come to a screeching hault.

My husband loves it. I ride along. Great lunch options and everyone is so nice no matter how busy!

Definitely worth the price. The front 9 is a beginner friendly course. During a recent tournament, whereas the temp was reaching mid to upper 90s, they really should've had refreshment carts cruising around, both for providing drinks for safety but also to make some much important $$ for the course. Back 9 is quite more challenging

Played this course for the past 5 years since I moved into the area. Course is in the best shape it’s ever been. Just updated their golf carts. More food and drink available at the clubhouse than they ever had in the past. Love the layout it has something for everyone. Price is more than fair. People here are friendly staff and golfers alike. Their website went down again but when it works making a time is a breeze.

Best priced course in the area right now. Greens are in good condition, fairways are okay but they're improving already. The whole cloverleaf "theme", is awesome. Not all uppity looking but still has a wholesome feeling. Will be back!

Cloverleaf is great! Alot of charm in this course. Front nine is kind of flat , and easy, back nine gets a bit more difficult with water and some hills.i love this course for the money. Greens are always in top shape, even in the winter! The greens are pretty small on the front nine but feels rewarding when you hit them! I will continue to golf here! Tha KS for a great course cloverleaf!!!

Great golf course. An absolute gem in southern Illinois. You'll love the layout. Plus, there's plenty of room to hit. And a few signature holes thrown in there. And for the price, it's the best bang for your buck.

I enjoyed my round. Played white tees. Tripled bogie on 9...for a 42. Many pars on back nine, But no birdies? 39. Cloudy to start And beautiful to finish. The greens were rolling nice On puts...and the greens held in The front or middle, back, no...
