In summary

Copper Basin Golf Club is praised for its scenic setting, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, which many find challenging due to their small size and elevation changes. The course, under new management, is undergoing improvements, including renovations to the clubhouse and additional amenities like pickleball courts and an indoor driving range simulator. While the fairways and sandtraps could use some attention, the overall experience is considered enjoyable and good value, especially for those looking for a unique and picturesque 9-hole course.

I only gave it a 3 star simply because the greens were impossible to play on, all of them slanted or off a hill, and not taken care of, also very VERY small compared to the lengths of the holes. This is not a course to work on our putting, but the views were great, the fairways were pretty decent and I have seen worse tee boxes. The entrance was a little difficult to find but it looks like they are getting a new club house so money has to be coming in from somewhere. I went on a Friday afternoon and it was WIDE open, pretty cool course for any ball striking beginner, if you are looking to impr…

It would seem that the course is under new management. It is also growing and the course is under a growth spurt. The greens were in fair shape as the fairways do need some TLC. The clubhouse is under renovation but appears that it too will be glorious once completed.

Drove 50min from Cleveland to play here on a nice November day. The greens were very nice even though we've had several frosty nights by now. Each hole is unique. Very few hazards. Pay close attention to the map while playing holes #4-7; they're not well-differentiated like most courses are. Bottom line: this is a nice 9-hole course with great scenery. Can't wait to go back.

Under new ownership, this place is getting a COMPLETE makeover! Great, exciting new things to come! Pickle Ball courts, indoor driving range simulator, new party pavilion and of course complete makeover of the golf course!

Like many others, I took up golf during the pandemic and have truly grown to appreciate the challenge of this unique game. Finding places like this to enjoy the game with a close friend and brother makes it all the more satisfying. The greens here are better than most high-end courses that I have visited. The people are incredibly friendly and the course itself is well laid out to create a challenge. We played the white markers on the front and the blues on the back as suggested. Made for a great 18 holes. We hope to return often.

My very first time playing this course. It was great! The course is not long, but it was challenging due to the elevation changes. The greens are small, but in pristine condition. It is only a 9 hole course, but it has multiple tee box to change things up. I will be definitely returning to play again.

Not a bad little 9 hole course at all!!! Greens were nicer than I expected. They’re smaller which makes it a worthy challenge. I plan on playing here any time I’m in this area.

Fairways were in rough shape but the greens are great. Cart was in excellent condition. Clubhouse does not offer alcohol or any significant food, only chips and candy. Overall a challenging course with all the elevation changes, but easy enough I didn't lose a ton of golfballs.

For a 9 hole course it is beautiful. It isn't perfect by any means because the sandtraps need some work and some places it's really hard to tell where your yardage is. Fairways are in very nice shape and the greens hold well. If you're in the area take a chance. Price is very reasonable!

I was staying in a cabin near Copper Basin with my family. My 12 year old junior golfer and I decided to play and try to get a tee time on the same day! Of course this was a long shot. However, I called Copper Basin and spoke to "Chuck." Without hesitation, he set us up for the last tee time of the day, during magic hour! What a sight that was!! My son where challenged by the course with long fairways, small and fast greens. None the less, we had a very fun evening and I will never forget the hospitality and friendliness we received at Copper Basin! Highly recommend this place!

This golf course is an absolute gem. The fairways and greens are looking great and the staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. Great value for the money. My husband and I are looking forward to playing there again later this week.
