In summary

Cream Ridge Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and scenic setting, with many visitors enjoying the food and service at The Roost Bar and Grill. The course layout is considered suitable for both beginners and more experienced golfers, offering a mix of challenging holes. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play on weekends, outdated golf carts, and the lack of water stations on the course.

Sat in the back room with a group after a funeral. Room was very plain and bland. Nothing to speak of. The menu was a typical bar menu. Two of us had burgers & fries which was good. Another had a chicken quesadilla, but she wasn't crazy about it. And, the other had a chicken sandwich with fries. Appetizer was chicken wings, which the guys enjoyed. The Roost Bar and Grill is probably very nice in spring and summer since it's directly on the Cream Ridge golf course.

I played this course on 9/22, a very rainy day. The course still held up well under these conditions. The course was empty so I got to play at my own pace. As a single golfer I played in 3 hours flat. They take care of this place. Also, great staff in the bar & grille. Food was delicious. Make sure to order the steak bites. Incredibly tender. Also the French onion soup is delicious.

Stopped in for lunch on a beautiful afternoon. Parking lot was full seemingly from golfers. The grill was empty. Three people at the bar and one group at a booth. We choose a table by the windowed doors. It was nice out but windy. Lunch was chicken parmesan and buffalo chicken wrap. Both were very good and more food than needed. Service was fine. As we were ready to leave about six other groups staggered in so I guess we were early.

The course is wide open and not really a lot of dog legs. Not really any back ups on holes and staff throughout was kind and friendly. Had lunch after my round and food came out quick and was super solid. Only thing I would give constructive criticism on is greens and the tee box on a few holes were a little beat up but I dis play after a few days of rain so that could be the root cause. Overall, I would play here again in a second and a perfect course for beginners or people like myself who are not that good at golf but always enjoy a round with some good friends.

The course is decent and playable, staff is friendly, they do need updated golf carts. Nice layout some 🕳 Holes are tricky. Back 9 is tougher 💪 than the Front 9....

Recently played in an outing here. Course was in great shape. Theyre trying their best to maintain greens. Lot of reminders on the course to fix divots. I appreciate this. The staff was great throughout the whole outing. I cant judge anything based on pace of play due to the outing. Though i want to come back for a regular round of golf. Flat course for most part. Lot of tree lined fairways

The course was in good shape. It would have been really nice if they had put some water out on it considering the humidity and high temps. I brought some water with me but only lasted the front 9 so was dying of thirst by the end of 18.

Course was in okay shape , had to wait almost 50 mins after scheduled Tee time, waiting on carts, they did not have enough and owner won't fix the broken ones.. Sad day use to love this traxk

BEST PUBLIC GREENS IN THE AREA ! I play a lot of public golf and the steps that the Greenskeeper and staff did to get this course back to playable is something special. They fixed the fungus and drainage issues. Now they working on the bunkers. But the greens, my goodness, FAST! Country club firm, true, and the ball rolls. Cream Ridge is great if you can get out before 9. After that, you’re looking at 4.5 hour round but that’s not the courses fault—the layout just creates a little traffic but have some patience ! But honestly if you’re looking to score on short par 4s, then greens have compl…

Good course with fast greens. Some tee shots were a bit too challenging from the tips and some greens have excessive slopes, in my opinion. I will definitely be back.

This place is like a hidden oasis. As far as I could tell there is not much going on in the area. I was blown away when we arrived here. The outdoor area was like a little piece of paradise In the middle of no where. So beautiful and the food was very reasonable and delicious. No membership needed to dine here.

Solid course for the price, some of the greens are challenging. Do not play here on Saturday or Sunday, they are constantly running behind; teed off almost an hour after our scheduled time twice on the weekend. Course has no ranger going around making sure people are playing at a decent pace. Maybe don’t have tee times 8 mins apart.
