Exceptional amenities, concierge security and a community of friends who care for one another. If you are bored here, it is your own fault! The sports, arts and social clubs are welcoming, and the nearby town of Beaufort is consistently named the best small town in the South.

We took a tour of the plantation ruins. The tour was very interesting and informative. The ruins are very well maintained and preserved.

The Dataw Island Cotton Dike course is one of my favorite in America. The views are unmatched in the Southern part of the United States. You will have about eight or nine tee shots in which you will be on the water. You will have the opportunity to cut off a lot of the fairway and go in with wedges, but you had better hit a great drive. While I played the Morgan River course better, the Cotton Dike is the more beautiful. Both courses have championship bermuda greens so bring your best efforts on every single putt. If you go to Hilton Head or the Beaufort, SC area you must play this course.
