In summary

Dearborn Hills Golf Course receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the friendly staff and the opportunity to improve mid-range game on a course with mostly par 3 holes. However, many criticize the course's condition, citing poorly maintained greens, fairways, and bunkers, as well as unsatisfactory customer service experiences. While some look forward to ongoing renovations, others express disappointment with the overall upkeep and management of the course.

I’ll start off by saying I lived in the general area for about 10 years never played this course before, so naturally I was excited to play this course for the first time, unfortunately it will be my last time playing here as well, for the price of $35 for 18 holes I thought was a steal upon arriving I started to read the one star reviews and once our foursome started to play I came to the conclusion all the negative reviews were right…, fairways and greens were abysmal. The greens were hard and patchy, fairways were incomplete and lumpy. Bunkers were compacted with mud and dirt, No sand….Pace…

TRY THIS COURSE OUT! I heard from others that this course was mostly par 3s, so I figured it would be too easy and not really help my game. I’m happy to say I was wrong. If you’re looking to improve your mid range game, this place is perfect. There are some tricky chipping setups and a few holes that really test your skill. Is it the course I’d bring a big group of friends to? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Yeah, 100%. Friendly staff & kind people !

Love the layout of the holes the greens could use some TLC but they are on their way. Looking forward to playing many rounds at this golf course.

I’ll never play here again. The pro shop staff were uninterested and not engaged. The greens are horrible and covered in dead spots, the aeration holes are massive and ruin the putting experience; the fairway and tee boxes are nonexistent. The sand traps are destroyed, no rakes even available to upkeep them. There was no bev cart girl going around at all, while it was a little late in the day. The individual managing the carts was the biggest issue. When my wife and her friend went up to the club house to get a drink and use the bathroom it was starting to get a bit late, he removed all of the…

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The course was awful, the tee offs were terrible, greens were terrible, fairway terrible. Nothing on this course was worth it except for the bar (at that point just go to an actual bar) there was no golf caddies offering drinks, we parked to use the restroom and they removed everything from our cart stating they were closing (we had an hour before dark) and told us “go get your men” (who were still playing) and did not let us continue to play. We had to forfeit our last 2 holes and walk to our men who were on hole 8 and watch them play through. When we got bac…

This was the worst course that I have ever played. Whomever is responsible for this course should be removed from their position. We were told today by a worker that the pump to supply water to the course has been broken for a month! Why the hell didn't you rent a truck to at least water the greens!?!? This course is a joke! I would never play this course for free. They should be embarrassed to charge for this product!!!

My 21 year old son got a Hole-in-One here on August 29, 2025. This is pretty exciting for any golfer, but particularly when you are 21. He reported it to the club house immediately as most courses offer something, like the flag, towel or certificate-basically some small token of recognition- only to be told quite bluntly "they don't do anything". (It did require some explaining to the person in the club house who was apparently not very familiar with golf.) Many mature golfers in my community where also surprised to learn the course did nothing. I find this quite disappointing and am leaving t…

We had a great day. Very friendly staff. Can't wait for the renovations to be complete. Our tee box was occupied by mom and her fawn. They ran towards us and around. Beautiful site!

Update... Jonathon Golich Assistant Director Dearborn Parks & Recreation did reply to my email. He acknowledged the problem and initiated a refund in addition to asking me to keep the raincheck for next season. They are silently going to resolve the problems by then. Fingers crossed because the course has so much potential. Compliments on the excellent customer service! Terrible greens... actually course conditions were pretty bad, the there is zero excuse (even with a broken irrigation system) to have greens like that and not have your website notify people or have your prices reflect it. On…

What Happened to the course I used to love?? I used to love this course when I was younger and learning how to golf. It was friendly and a really well kept course...new management, and the course is not what it used to be. The greens were in awful shape: patchy and rock solid. The cups were not cut clean; The fairways and tee boxes were rough too! Divots galore and hard as a rock. Couldn't even place a tee in a few of them (explains the divots). Then the staff was very young and presumptuous girls. I received no service from the Bev cart girl who drove by me 7 times, and the girls in the clubh…

Carts appear to be new and have built in GPS. The course overall is pretty nice besides the trash people leave around. The greens seem decently kept. The staff were super friendly. Though majority of the holes are Par 3’s, it was still a great time. I’ll definitely golf here again.
