In summary

Inkster Valley Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and scenic setting, offering a good value for the price with friendly staff and well-maintained greens. However, many visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, particularly the poor condition of bunkers, tee boxes, and some fairways. While some improvements are underway, the lack of support in certain situations and inconsistent course conditions have been points of concern for players.

Overall, this is the best condition I've seen this course in a few years. Greens are in solid shape, fairways are nice and the employees are great! If you've never played it, it's a pretty long course. Tee boxes are a little rough.

Decent price, polite staff, but the course could use some love. The bunkers are no longer bunkers, the tee boxes are half weeds, but the greens are mostly well taken care of. It’s a challenging enough course but can be fun. Interesting views on the back 9. I’m sure I’ll play it again but it won’t be my first choice.

This course gets the job done for a quick, cheap (relatively, as everything is going up) round. The track is good. The greens are quick and holding up this summer. The fairways and rough are hard to tell apart and the tee boxes are incredibly rough. And sometimes the carts stop working. Deal with it baby, at least you’re playing golf!

I had an extremely frustrating experience here yesterday, and honestly it completely ruined what should have been a relaxing round of golf. My cart got stuck in the mud out on the course, which can happen—but what shouldn’t happen is being left completely stranded with no support. I started calling the clubhouse around 7:30 PM (well before their posted 8:00 PM closing time) and called over 20 times. Not a single answer. No response, no attempt to help, nothing. Being ignored like that when you’re stuck out on the course is unacceptable. I ended up having to carry my full golf bag on my back…

Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Lots of water and tree lines in play, had to hit straight shots to stay in play. Very much an up north vibe. Felt this was a great value when compared to courses at the same price point, and even more expensive courses. It looks like lots of improvements are in process on the course, which is a good sign. One negative, sprinklers were left until after 9:30 and had to play through them on the first 5 holes.

Nice place, and the staff was great during an outing we played. Some things obviously could use extra attention, we played during a downpour and besides no sense in nit picking it to death.. it’s a great budget friendly course, best advice would be to avoid the sand. And we all try to do that anyways!

This used to be a very nice golf course. But at this point they're off the rails. Literally 0 sand anywhere. Bunkers are like back alleys. Rocks and weeds. Upkeep in general is absolutely horrendous. 100% won't be back unless major changes happen. A shame too

For the price it’s great . The tee boxes are beat up , they don’t change the pins to often and a little weed and feed would be of huge help. Greens are super slow . For the price, what do you want? .

Not sure what happened to this course. There are large spots of dirt in fairways with no grass, and tee boxes are torn up with divots everywhere. Sand traps looked like Big Foot walked through them: unplayable. Greens were burned from fertilizer and were torn up also. I will not be back. Fix it or close down.

One of the toughest but fair courses around, and the price wasn't bad either. If I had one complaint it's that the bunkers were not playable at all even the starter mentioned to take your ball out, if they clean them out and place good sand in them...then it's 5 stars instead of 4. Other wise a great course layout with smooth rolling greens. Can't wait to play here again💯🏌️‍♂️👍
