In summary

Gateway Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and beautiful setting, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. However, some patrons have expressed concerns about the pace of play, maintenance of certain areas such as cart paths and sand traps, and occasional issues with course management and communication. Despite these criticisms, the overall experience is generally positive, with many enjoying the course's unique features and scenic views.

I’ve been playing this track since they opened and I’ve always had positive experiences. I played here 4/11 and paid their $67 rate for 18 and a cart. The range was closed, the greens were punched, every single par 3 had the tees moved all the way to the front tees including some par 4’s and5’a and it was not a positive experience. All four of us in our group thought it was CRAP! DO BETTER GATEWAY!

Great Links course! I walked it and logged over 7 miles. Conditions above average. And then, of course, there's John Daly.....

One of my favorite downriver hidden gem golf courses! They’ve done a lot of work on the course over the last couple years and it’s getting better and better. The tee boxes need some help for sure. Otherwise fun course to play when in downriver!

It's a fool ya course, plenty of obstacles it appears to be an easy course...not so fast!

Only complaint was that the greens were aerated, otherwise the course was in great shape.

Nice course! The only reason for 3 stars is the pace of play is horrible. No rangers out on the course keeping the pace of play. The people in front kept hitting multiple balls in tee box slowing down the game. Would be nice to have people monitoring and allowing small groups or single players to play through.

I love this course. Played here during my senior year in high school. We had a match against Willow Run High School. We ended up winning. I shot a 79. It was my best round. This course is gorgeous and the way it weaves through the neighborhood really made it stand out to me.

Course is very well kept, challenging & isn't set up like a dog-track. Nice range & putting - chipping green.

One of the nicest public courses in Wayne county. Some challenging holes and a lot of fun. Try twilight at 6pm for 35$ if you can’t get in early. Definitely worth it
