In summary

Deer Creek Golf Club receives praise for its friendly and attentive staff, challenging course layout, and well-maintained greens, which many consider among the best in the area. The club's recent improvements, including new carts and a refurbished clubhouse, have been well-received. However, some visitors note issues with the fairways and bunkers, as well as the driving range, which are seen as areas needing further attention. Overall, the course shows potential and is appreciated for its value and ongoing enhancements.

I really enjoyed my round today. The course was in great shape. The greens were in excellent condition. The fairways and rough had some crab grass but the golf course looked great. I definitely will be back

First time playing there today. Great staff. Super friendly and helpful. Good rates. Course was okay. A lot of crab grass... everywhere except greens. Roughs were really rough. The rough grass looked unkept, not cut and generally left to grow wild. Really surprised nobody was cutting fairways on a Monday morning. The driving range was totally overgrown. I would like to say I would be back, but not sure. The course has a lot of potential, but needs some work.

We played Deer Creek a couple days after Christmas. Staff was extremely nice. I was pleasantly surprised with the course. We drove from Nashville and enjoyed this course more than most the public courses we play in Nashville area and it was about half the price.

The guy in the pro shop was extremely nice. They even let us tee off early. Pin placements were extremely difficult. Most difficult I've ever played. I normally 1 putt on most courses on most holes and it was lucky if you 3 putted on these where pin placement was on hills. I hit 8 holes that on 99% of other course would have dropped but because the cups werw tilted on hills and inclines it would swirl around and spit it out down the hill 15 feet away to make for another very difficult putt or two after that. Many accorns, hills, under construction spots, patches of uneven grass, extra mudd and…

Very disappointed! Took 13 people out there. Greens were fantastic but rest of the course was in bad shape. Tee boxes had very little grass. Fairways were a crap shoot if you could find grass to hit out of. The rough was properly named, nothing but crab grass clumps. The course has great potential with the lay out but was in horrible shape. I laughed when someone said it was better than Stonehenge and others. Not in the same ball park.

Greens were excellent. Tough, fast, true. Fairways are a work in progress (I hope). Staff were friendly and very helpful. I hope they keep improving!

Played 3 times in the last 45 days. Golf course is in great shape after years of sitting dormant. Carts are new, fairways are in great shape. Greens are fast (Don't be above the pin on #3, #4 & #13, you will 3 putt from there. LOL). Glad it's back open and will absolutely be back. Keep up the good work.

As someone who plays many public courses all over the southeast I cannot stress this enough, STAY AWAY! Course is in bad shape, they have completely given up on bunkers, and the starter was dropping racist comments to my wife and sister about us being from Chattanooga. It was not a good day we paid for 18 and left after 12.

Got to play at the newly refurbished course this past weekend and I must say, we had a fantastic time! The fairways and greens are in great shape and it was a true joy to play there. The carts appear to be brand new and they work very well. There is a very large putting green that is real grass, not turf. I only have two issues: First, is that the sand traps aren't filled yet, but I believe they are going to be getting all of those done pretty soon. UPDATE: As far as I know, most, if not all, of the bunkers are filled up. Second, is the driving range. You can only get a small bucket of balls…

Terrible weather to start our day but sun came out for back nine! Enjoyed the round, greens were nice and a bit of a challenge.

Golf course is in good shape! Played Stonehenge and Lake Tansi and this course was in almost the same shape! Great greens; tees were a little rough but you are teeing it up; fairways are wide open and in good shape; sand a little hard because of the rain! This was the only course in the area that was NOT CART-PATH ONLY! For the price ($87.00 for two) the best in the area and should really think about playing here! Great staff; we were a twosome and had no one in front! Wide open play! Looking for a quick round, this is the place!
