I vacationed at Fairfield Glade a number of years ago and played most of the area courses. The Heatherhurst Brae and Crag courses were in very nice shape and were challenging with many elevation changes. I did enjoy the Brae course the most, possibly because I scored better...

Took my two oldest grandchildren to play at the Glade one last time before Wyndham dumps it. My wife and I as well as my sons had played the Heatherhurst Brae in the past and had good experiences. On October 12, 2025 it was horrible! The first ranger was fine and brought us ice water. The second ranger was a jerk and harassed us, told us to speed up, skip the hole and the next par 3. We are not good golfers, but nobody was within 2 holes of us! We had an 18 year old and a 13 year old there with us and it was really sad how the ranger acted. I called the clubhouse and he told us not to skip ano…

A well maintained golf course with awesome views. The 17th hole has a great view from the tee box with the fairway and green well below you.

I would have rated 5 star but was really put out by the problems in the concession area. Course was 5 Star. Excellent grass everywhere and outstanding golf course operations with the starters and helpers. Loved the course! Concession was not up to the task! We needed food at the turn! Called the concession wanting to place an order from the 8th tee. Was told hot dog would take 30 seconds. Would not take the order. On arrival 10 people ahead of us waiting! We were told it would be a problem and it was! We had to skip in order to keep pace! After we finished we needed food for our next 18 and…

Of the four courses we played, Druid Hills, Stonehenge & Dorchester, Heatherhurst Brae was my favorite. A little shorter yardage than the other courses and the fairways were more open. The greens had been aerated about a week earlier but they were playable and much slower than Stonehenge. The par 5 #10 is absolutely gorgeous as the fairway leads down the hillside to a green surrounded by water on the right and back with bunkers on the left.

Had a great time at the two courses on the property. The courses are not super long but you need to hit the ball straight!!

My husband golfed (walked) front 9 of Crag course, I walked with him. Not really being a golf aficionado, I can only say that the course is beautiful, very scenic, and I enjoyed the walk. Be prepared for gnats, though.

Great layout, tree lined course with not much room to bailout and plenty of white stakes so you better hit it straight or it'll be a long day...we played a 2 day play in down throughout the course in June 2021 and the fairways were absolutely perfect, not a bad lie in 2 days... The rough would give some down lies and some flyers but it was cut consistent and in very good shape also... The greens rolled true but they were really slow which was a let down... The nats are horrible also this time of year, enjoy 😂😂
