Stayed at Desert Lakes Golf Course for two nights through Harvest Hosts and really enjoyed the experience. The designated Harvest Host parking is at the far end of the main lot. It's a level asphalt surface with plenty of lighting at night, which made setup easy. The only downside is the noise from the nearby 4-way intersection. A lot of vehicles stop and then aggressively take off, and that happens throughout the day and night. During my stay, I ate at the restaurant inside the clubhouse both days. The food was solid and it was convenient being just steps away. On my day off, I packed up my…

Visitor, played 3x during stay. The course conditions are currently rather rough after some water issues, but much to love about course. The layout is fun and interesting, staff very friendly, really great bar & grill...restaurant! And the views along course! Really enjoyed rounds.

Friendly atmosphere in the pro shop and bar. Prices were decent. The course has good grass on the tee boxes and greens, but the fairways are mostly dirt on most holes except on the approach to the greens. Most par 3s were in good shape. Interesting water obstacles. Lots of houses on the right side of the course on the front 9 after hole #4, so watch out if you slice. The course marshal was nice and explained the irrigation problems they had watering the course. We'll definitely go back in 2026 to see if the grass conditions are better. We had a good time even though the grass conditions were n…

Great place to exit some stress by knocking a bucket of balls @ their driving range

Fairways a bit narrow on a few holes. Couple of water holes that can dent your card as well. Good play!

We didn't golf, but the course looked nice. Stayed with the Harvest Host site with our RV on the property. It was a great spot. Beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Grill was great to eat at too.

The guy that we checked in with was extremely racist towards our party. Hovering over us as well as making sure we didn’t bring alcohol when multiple parties of a different race were allowed to bring full cases of beer in. He was extremely condescending and rude. The golf course is also very small and poorly maintained, the lowest of the low in regards to standards for a golf “resort”.

Nice staff, low prices and beautiful views from the first nine holes. Fairways are in very poor shape, unfortunately. Lots of bold spots and mud. Bunkers are craters with hard or drenched bottoms. Most greens, by contrast, are OK. First few holes play right into the rising morning sun.

We played the front nine and this course was in the worst shape of any course I can remember. Dirt/mud instead of grass on many holes. Carts were falling apart. Yikes

Nice course layout, but not in the best condition in March. Nice clubhouse.
