Thanksgiving dinner was amazing. Turkey cooked to perfection. Wonderful assortment of sides. Served family style. The salad and dessert bars were delicious. The warm bread pudding and cream brulee were favs at our table.

Had the pleasure to play here as a guest (October 2025). Wonderful experience. Old school American golf course design. Immaculate fairways, greens, and tee boxes. Fast, tricky greens. Spectacular views along the rolling hilly terrain. Best advice: Trust your range finder (put the slope on) and not your eyes. Many optical illusions regarding distance perception on approach shots and par 3's. More than I've experienced anywhere! It your range finder (with the SLOPE ON) says 159 it may look to you as 135. Don't be fooled! ) Kudos to the wonderful club and grounds staff at Elgin CC. Elegant class…

If you are looking for a club to be a part of, look no further. The course is magnificent, the food is incredible, the pool is tremendous and you’ll be glad you joined. Our school did an outing here and we were floored by the amount of people that were impressed with the course and amenities. Challenging holes that still have a decent level of playability for most golfers. Stop in for a chance to check out the best course in Chicagoland!
