Ellis Park Golf Course

The city did a wonderful job when they put in the new club house last year. The course has changed ot since the 2020 derecho with many trees no longer there making the front nine more open then previously. The greens have some slopes to them so you need to read them properly or you could have a longer putt then you expected. Greens keepers are how mowing and maintaining the tee box area as well as other parts of the course.

Great course, clean and well kept. $48 for a 18 hole run and $4 cheddar dog. Great deal!

The new clubhouse is breathtaking and very friendly staff! This is a fun city course.

Played Ellis today this is one of the best public golf courses in Iowa by far everything was an exceptional shape from the clubhouse to the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens I can't think of anything that was wrong with the course if you have not played this golf course do yourself a favor and play it Greens are tricky and you better be hitting a good tee shot wonderful course can't say enough good things about it I will definitely be back!

Driving range was outstanding. We were hitting off mats today, but the mat is very nice and seems brand new.

Very nice brand new clubhouse, and very affordable round. 1X complaint, Ellis please put up stakes that indicate distance. RED 100, WHITE 150, BLUE 200 I had no idea how far out I was the entire round because yardage markers were very difficult to find.

Great course that’s been around for years. I like that each 9 is a little different than the other, good variety. The only challenge is the power lines on some holes

Very fun course and was in great shape for early Spring. Course staff was courteous and offered helpful tips a first time players.

The best city course in Cedar Rapids. The golf course is in pretty good shape, great clubhouse/pro shop, and a solid practice area/driving range

Terrible and judgmental place. As we’re golfing today for Father’s Day we get stopped from an employee and for we’re holding up everybody yet there was a group of eight people behind us with one cart having a person riding on the back of the cart. Tried to have a good time with family and instead got profiled yet nobody else got spoken too. What of a joke of a place and what rude judgmental employees. It was an older gentlemen maybe in his 60’s or 70’s. There was no way he had calls in on us for we did not cause any problems. Stay away.

Wonderful people, fun atmosphere. Really enjoyed our time there.
