In summary

Fort Clark Springs Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, as well as its relaxed atmosphere and scenic setting with abundant wildlife. Many visitors enjoy the unique layout and the community's welcoming vibe. However, some golfers have noted that the course conditions, particularly the fairways and greens, need improvement, with issues such as dirt and slow greens being mentioned.

The course at the moment is extremely hurting! The "tee boxes" are mainly dirt and rocks and it is almost impossible to insert a tee in them. The fairways are nothing but dirt for the exception of maybe 3. The greens need a lot of attention as well. I understand the drought out here in southwest Texas is bad but there are ways around it. If you plan on coming out there to play a round, be sure to bring a set of "throw-down" golf clubs because they will get beat up. I just don't think that for the price to play this course it is worth the trip and it's sad because it's the only 18 hole course i…

The course is so bad right now. Was trying to find any reviews prior to playing, but could not find anything. I took a leap and tried it and oh my god do I regret it. A lot of dirt even if you hit the fairway you’re most likely not getting a good second shot. Not worth the price.

Visited here on a holiday. The staff accommodated a group of 8 with no hassle. They were kind and willing to do whatever it took to make our experience a pleasant one. Course wasn't overly busy so we were able to play at our own pace. Tons of wildlife to add to the experience. Megan and Dani are the absolute best. If you want a relaxed round with none of the normal uptight hassle of a golf course this is the one.

I visited this course in mid February and the weather was perfect. It's a full 18 hole course and it is in a cool community. Everyone is driving around on their own golf carts and everyone is super friendly! It wasn't the best course I've ever played on, but for West Texas it was pretty good. I'll definitely play there again

Not a pro tournament caliber course, but im not a pro caliber player lol. I absolutely love this course, i have played it twice now and plan on playing it more. Nice and quiet, both times I've played, i pretty much had the whole course to myself. Friendly community, one of those where everyone waves at each other when you cross each other. If you like seeing wildlife, this is a good place to see a ton of deer and birds. Greens are pretty slow but it is winter time, id like to see what this course offers during the summer.

The course itself has gotten better but the lemonade in the pro shop could be upgraded

Good golf course. Always well cept and playable. Has some challenges to keep it exciting. Yet not to challenging for casual play.

It's like playing golf in a dirt lot, but it makes you learn some new tricks.
