Franklin County Country Club

My wife and I own a sprinter van that we use to travel the country and play golf as often as we can. I'm semi-retired and work in the industry myself and usually we don't have any problems. We had played Tims Ford SP one afternoon, then headed to Winchester with hopes to play this course the next morning. They don't have a website so it's not easy figuring out if they have open play and how to get a tee time. Yes, I should have called ahead but we are normally spontaneous. Great venue for your special event. We had our 50th class reunion and everything was perfect. A lot of hard work was put into it by several class members and the Country Club staff did a great job too.

Nice facility, showing it's age in decor but clean and well kept. I have only been for special events, but always a good time. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. I have not played the course, but it looks to be nicely maintained.

Very friendly people. Golf course looks better every time I get to play. Thanks to Wanda Sanders for getting me back into the game of golf. She is a terrific teacher. To bad I don't follow instructions better though.

Good eats at the Rotary Club Low Country Boil. Four stars instead of five because other than the old guy taking tickets at the door, no one said a word to us.

I have been there twice this year and both times it was a very beautiful place to go I've never been there before but if you ever get a chance to go this is the place to go they have wonderful atmosphere nice dining area for special clubs to go in there and have your meetings things like that
