Fun layout, well maintained, good pace of play. Course will challenge you in different ways. No holes feel redundant. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to staffing issues.

The course itself is lovely. I enjoyed the round overall, though the pace of play was a bit slow at times. What could be improved is the customer service experience. When I checked in with a certificate for 18 holes, the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and insisted it wasn’t valid. To avoid holding things up, I paid, but it left a sour impression. Later, the ranger also spoke to me in a way that came across as condescending, which was disappointing. Great course, courteous personnel. Very well laid out through the property. Girl at the grill outside was great. Served our burgers right to tables after our first 18. We will return!

Absolutely amazing course. Picked to play here rather than going over to Boyne, and it was the right move. The course has an amazing layout. Front nine has a little links feel to it and the back take you through the woods. It’s in amazing condition. Well worth the price. Joe, the super intendant has done amazing work. Could not recommend this course enough.

What a fantastic day! From start to finish staff to golf course, it was amazing! The layout through the pines to start the round was just truly beautiful and then almost linked style back nine crossing the river was breathtaking and the elevated tea shot part three number nine was just incredible! I strongly recommend this wonderful golf destination for all levels of players!

What a treat! Great scenery on almost every hole. Thoroughly enjoyed playing this northern Michigan wooded gem. We stayed for dinner and found a fresh menu with a variety of the chef's creations. The chef recommend the parmesan encrusted white fish. It was excellent! Prepared and presented perfectly. Our table of 8 tried a variety of dinners and everyone enjoyed their meal thoroughly. There's a full wine list and a full bar. It was a great way to top off our round of golf on a great course. I would recommend this course to any golfer of any skill level.

The course was absolutely pristine and the property was beautiful with the fall colors. The staff is very well trained and the level of custom service is 5-Star all around!

The best view in northern Michigan for dining and great food. Planked whitefish was yummy. Service was excellent. Can also arrive via kayak with a good take out spot across the river from the restaurant.

Absolutely phenomenal experience; true gem and a must play. From the staff at the shop to the staff at the halfway house to the state of the course and the scenic views.

The course is amazing. Wonderful work on the piece of beautiful land.
