Nice, challenging course for golfers of all skill levels. Good practice facility. Course is good shape. Sand traps need more sand and better drainage.

Went here on June 23, 2020 for the first time. I was impressed. The staff was very polite. Their Yamaha golf carts are better than any other golf cart I have ever driven before. Sharp breaks, great peddal response, brand new tires, electricity powered, clean inside and out, plus seemingly well maintained in their garages. The course has cool deck-like bridges you drive over as well (as seen in photo below). The fairways are well cut, clean sand traps, and great greens! Great public course. Excellent value especially if you're a county card holder. Nice greens. Very well kept. Grass practice range with an excellent practice putting green. Can play just the back 9 on the weekends. (Would love if they'd extend this to weekdays as well). Starters can be a little prickly, but the clubhouse guys are great. Walkable course for sure. Some thick terrain if you miss badly so bring some extra balls.

played yesterday. course is in bad shape. every tee box was chewed up and every green was loaded with ball marks. greens were slow and that is pretty common for the county courses.

I reviewed this popular Monmouth County course when I played it last summer when 14 out of 18 tees were closed because the grass died from a fungus. I played it yesterday and it was in excellent shape and all the tees had recovered beautifully with very good conditions. The greens and fairways were all in great shape as well. The greens are a little slower than I would like but the sand traps had plenty of sand and were nicely raked. One thing they had here that really impressed me was they actually had a ranger out there often making sure golfers behind us kept pace on this very hot day. The…

Meh :( velcro greens, fairways are chewed up and a complete mess, plus very slow pace of play. This used to be one of my favorite county courses. Sad

Excellent layout - very picturesque. We played after heavy rains - fairways had standing water but greens were fine - in great shape. Definitely worth playing. 5/31/22: course is in top shape. Greens ate excellent- as good as I've ever seen them. Fairways are full. Highly recommend.

This is a long course which I love. Lots of big dog rights which plays into my game perfectly. The course is very well maintained a lot better than most. It's a county course and cost about $35 without cart. A lot of the holes are really nice looking with big mature trees. Greens aren't too tricky and everything is set up to benefit a good shot.

Beautiful county course. Little steep in price for non county holders/members. Greens and fairways are well kept. Tee boxes could use some maintenance. Some greens are under construction but thats always a good sign. Bunkers are in good condition too compared to other courses. There was a cart girl that went around too. Practice range and fairly large practice green. Would play here again but maybe in off season or mid week since im not a county member

We played on Wednesday for the first time and loved the course. I played the white tees and my partner played the forward tees (red). The only reasons we deducted one "star " was because we felt the forward tees (red) were still much to long for most women. Many of the senior tees (gold) and forward tees were at the same distance.
