In summary

Indigo Creek Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, as well as its challenging and enjoyable layout, which includes various hazards and doglegs. However, several visitors have noted that the course conditions, particularly the greens and bunkers, could use improvement, with some mentioning issues like patchy greens and poor drainage. Additionally, the pace of play is a concern for some, with reports of slow rounds and insufficient management of tee times.

Enjoyed the course. Like all courses the conditions could be better, but it is what it is. One thing the course can control is the pacing… on our 8th hole of the day, there were 6 groups waiting. The starter was not pairing people up; he was just sending off twosomes and trying to maximize the number of people he gets out. This made for a very poor playing experience.

First five holes are golf ball eaters. Lots of water and narrow. Better after that but need to play a few times to know better. Staff is great, carts are ok. Our cart needed a gentle touch which we weren’t told and didn’t learn till 6 holes in. Course is nice, challenging but needs some daily love to make it work. One green had goose poop all over it. Just from the morning but should have been taken care of. Got our green fees thru golf moose and was reasonable.

Played May 17 2024: First time playing in SC, if you're not used to humidity bring a TON of water. Course was in decent shape, had to move my ball to around to find a good spot to hit. Greens were a bit patchy but it's new to the season. The staff was amazing, guy grabbed our clubs and put them into our carts.

Place is a goat path. I cannot say one good thing about the course. Our round took 5 hours and 20 minutes in addition to the absolutely horrendous conditions of the course. The staff was very friendly, but we didn’t pay to speak to friendly people. I’ve included a few pics of the fairways and around the greens. Really too bad because it has a lot of potential.

Course is in very nice shape. Definitely not a goat path as described by other whiners. Don’t expect TPC grounds for 50 bucks.

Layout is good. Course upkeep mediocre. Had a discount coupon, would not have been happy with full price.

A very pleasant golf experience, course is challenging and fair, very nice layout, wide fairways, greens where fast and a little thin but that’s a natural occurrence this time of the year. The staff are very cordial, accommodating and pleasant, especially the Mother and Son combo. My Girlfriend is a novice and they were really accommodating her inexperience in their schedule. I will return in the future and recommend playing…. Price is certainly good.

This was an unexpectedly nice course for being priced so low, only paid $20. It had some nice hazards, good dog legs, and water shots. The greens were a little hard, you didn't need a divot tool. We got rained out after 15 holes but still had a great time.

The course layout was really nice and the holes were challenging. The drainage was really bad. The sand traps were not well maintained and most of them were full of standing water. Hitting out of the sand traps was like hitting off concrete. The condition of the greens was pretty bad. There were a lot of bad spots on every green and the grass seemed to be dead or dying. The overall round of golf was enjoyable, just wish the course was in better condition.

Nicest people you will ever deal with at a public golf course. Great condition for the price at the beach. 100% recommend this place

If I could give negative stars I would. I’ve never played a golf course more awful than this dog track. Greens are unplayable, tee boxes are disgusting, and they nickle and dime you and charge you extra for using a card. 2 soft drinks was $6, and they charge you an extra $2 for using a card. We got a “deal” from group golfer for $30 and I feel like I got ripped off. Do not play here.
