In summary

Island Green Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the friendly staff and the course's layout, particularly noting the well-kept greens and the appealing par 4 island green at the 18th hole. However, many reviews highlight significant concerns, including poor course maintenance, overgrown areas, and infrastructure issues, such as pothole-ridden cart paths and a clubhouse in need of repairs. Additionally, there are reports of the course being closed or in disrepair, leading to dissatisfaction among some patrons.

This course was the worst course I have ever played. I played 4 holes, and drove back to the club house and asked for a refund. I was not told until after we had paid and was about to drive to hole 1 that the front 9 was closed and the course was cart path only due to the large amount of rain they h ad received. I thought that was odd, I had just played golf at Prewick and they didn't have any rain problems. The fairways were underwater, the cart paths were covered in mud. Stay away from this course. Don't let the cheap rates rope you in. There are allot of courses in the area you can play…

I bought a unit here. What a big mistake. No security, crime increasing daily, unit broken into. The golf course closed...owners will rent to anybody with no background checks or refrences required. Worthless rules and regulations.Lots of old people who wont and didnt participate in the golf course...very selfish. What a mess this place has become.Beware. CM

Worst course I've seen in Myrtle Beach area. Over grown everywhere, weeds in fairways & tees, traps unkept, cart paths had potholes w/roots growing through. Greens bearable but they had to cut them w/push mowers because they supposedly lost their contract w/John Deere ?

Nice job on getting the club house and golf course closed down again Ray Watts! Pay your taxes and stop being such a low life. Oh and how about you take some of that 1.5 million from that shady real estate deal from 2013 and pave Sunnehanna drive

Very friendly servers and very hardworking and the course looks decent, but the road to the golf course needs lots of work and the clubhouse needs to be repainted
