In summary

Kellogg Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and scenic setting, making it a popular choice in the Peoria area. Visitors often highlight the helpfulness of the pro shop staff and the availability of amenities. However, there are recurring concerns about staff rudeness and slow pace of play, which have negatively impacted some golfers' experiences.

Greens were in decent shape. Rough was rough. Fairways were really dry. The bentgrass was definitely not fluffy like it can be when it's not dried out. But the course was in overall good shape. First time playing here, so I can't say if it is normal condition or what.

Didn’t play the course but rode it as an observer for the IESA. From my perspective, it was a darn nice public course. Decent combination of scoring opportunities, tough par 3’s, etc. Best part was the attitude of the kids. No whining, no complaining, and no giving up. (As an old fella, have to admit I was kinda jealous of those flexible kids. I might be able to punch one out there like them, knowing the hospital is just down the street).

Nice course with cool obstacles and shade, however experienced rude comments from staff. While push-carting around a worker was passive aggressive insinuating my group of 4 was slow and below average skill. These comments were unwanted, and as a new golfer, made me feel like I can’t learn to golf at Kellogg. After finishing 9-holes at very normal time of 2 hours, these comments ruined the experience for my group. Little to say we will not be coming back.

Nice golf course but no rules are followed. Pace of play is horrendous. Groups of 5 or 6 golfers or more and no Marshall to regulate pace of play. A round may take 5 or 6 hours. Do not play if you expect a normal golf experience. Slow and no regualtion.

Nice option in the Peoria area. It has a fun little executive nine and the regular course is well maintained and fair. The practice facility across the street is great, I'm hoping the addition of a top golf type facility won't take away from the regular practice atmosphere. A solid track.

This golf course is one of the best in the Peoria area! Had lots of fun golfing here would definitely come back. The only reason I give a 2 star is because when we checked in with Ronald (I think his name is) he was incredible rude to us and a separate group of golfers. We felt completely disrespected and feel with a course as beautiful as this they need someone who’s going to welcome golfers and have a way better attitude about their job.

Pro Shop was very helpful! Got me out for a twilight 18 quickly. I was able to navigate the 18 in just the right time. Course was in great shape, loved the fairways. Greens rolled true. Couldn’t ask for a better round. Definitely will be coming back to play when I’m in the area.

Fine course on the Executive 9. Prices have crept up which is a shame. $31 for 9 hole course with cart is out of reach for some folks. For a park district course, this is too much in my opinion. Some of the greens are too fast, so with wind ball runs across and off green and putting becomes ridiculous.

Beautiful challenging course with a few dog legs and water to keep it interesting. Fun course lay out.

A beautiful course w/ clean and comfy golf carts. Lots of nice scenery, couple deer sometimes, friendly staff. No little bar area but drinks and some chips or sandwiches for sale if need be. $78ish for 2 to golf with carts for 18 holes. Usually always have a tee time available.

Course is in great shape looks great, greens are sweet and hold well. A little pricey for a senior with cart. People are friendly and the 19th hole is good.
