We visited on a Monday afternoon when they had open golfing hours. It is $20 for 9 holes with a cart or 25 for 18. It is quite hilly which made it more fun. We did learn later the back 18 was kind of repetitive of the front, but it didn’t matter much. We bought our pass through the bar and the bartender and patrons were very friendly.

Golf is a rich man's game. As our empire continues to crumble, it will become less popular unless we try to hold on to the idea that we are some kind of exceptional Nation and greater than any other. Other than that. Why not just take a walk in the woods? It's a lot cheaper. Cheaper it's not as presumptuous there's not as much cheating. How much money do you have to have to play a game of golf. How much are the clubs? How much is the green fee at Timberlake club of Peoria? So I can play a game for what, 700 bucks if I have including my clubs and my bag? If you need an organized sport go Poland…

Nice golf course, I'm told. Many lakes for fishing, 1 for swimming with a beach. Serves food at the club house and has a well stocked bar.

Went there as a kid. Used to have a lot of moss, didn't care. Great memories. Grandparents had a camper on the fishing side and wouldn't have traded it for the world. If they've renovated, I'm sure it's even better.

Friendly bartenders and staff. Lots of food well prepared and price is good. Clean establishment. Too bad some of the red necks don't clean up after themselves. Guess they are only thinking of themselves Instead of others. Some people are pigs.

River City Blues Society event, with The Robin Crowe band and The Flying D'Rito Brothers. Nice way to break the pandemic isolation. Good friends, great music, cold beverages, excellent conversation and just being around old friends again.

Great place for a wedding/wedding reception. Great food as well. The only bad thing, the bathroom sewage really needs work!
