In summary

Kimball Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course offers a variety of holes with different challenges, including rolling hills and blind shots, and is considered affordable with good amenities. However, some visitors have experienced issues with the management of tee times and slow pace of play, particularly due to large groups on the course.

Fun and affordable course with some challenging holes. Played in early April and the greens were in great shape. The club house staff and course layout is awesome and that is key to my return!

If I could rate this less than a star, I absolutely would. The course itself is great. Fun, public course with challenging holes. However, I have never experienced worse mismanagement of tee times in my entire life. 5 somes & 7-somes playing b2b2b holes on the course. This has caused 30 minutes jams between holes! Get a ranger, or at the very least STOP ALLOWING MORE THAN 4 PEOPLE TO PLAY AT THE SAME TIME. Overpriced, and horrifically managed.

I absolutely love this course—it’s a 10/10 and I highly recommend it. My two young sons feel genuinely welcomed here as they learn the game, even though they occasionally find the undulating, technically challenging greens a bit frustrating. Bring bug spray if it’s been wet and the wind is low. Horse/deer flies.

Very attractive course. The course is fun and not overly challenging, but not a walk in the park either. Tee boxes and greens were in good condition (8/16/25). Great deal on 6-packs for the course -- way better deals than other courses nearby. (They serve Twisted Tea pounders!!) Would recommend.

Course was in good shape. Greens were rolling true. Great senior rate during the week. It was tough to get there because of the detour around downtown Kimball for road work.

Greens were very well groomed and kept up. Varied lengths and elevation on holes. Also has a drink cart come around which was nice.

Pickup a cooler of beer at the clubhouse and head out on the course. Carts were labeled as sanitized. Course was very nice and affordable. I'll have to come back up sometime soon when in town

Used to love playing this course but had a terrible experience with one of the staff members today who was very unreasonable and unkind even when we were very respectful to her and the course. Will not be going back and I do not recommended the course for anyone.

Received a gift certificate to play here, and glad I made the drive. I'm a beginner and I found some holes to be challenging, some to be easier, so it was good balance. The clubhouse is small, but has what you need. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

Pace of play is awful and course is alright greens need work but challenging. Groups on the course are to big and to slow need a ranger for sure.

The golf course was in excellent condition. It is a good course to play. There are many hills and walking would be tough. I went in late June of 2024 and their website was still listing the prices from 2023. They are reasonably priced for golf and it was worth the money.
