In summary

Little Fishing Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable pricing, and scenic layout with challenging elevation changes. Many visitors find it a good value for a municipal course, though some express concerns about inconsistent greens and overall maintenance, particularly regarding drainage and cart paths. Despite these issues, the course remains a popular choice for those seeking a budget-friendly golfing experience.

It’s a nice layout! A good bit of elevation change and sloping fairways that require accurate tee shots! Greens were a little rough but a good deal for the price. Will definitely play again!!

Great people, great course, and great price. I would definitely recommend this course. Update 2026 The place has gone to the dogs due to county incompetence. Four greens on the front 9 look like they've been hit with artillery rounds. I heard today that they are going to fix them next year. Been a member for 10 years playing multiple times per week. I never got an email or anything saying they were sorry for the inconvenience. I really think members should be compensated for that inconvenience. One last thing my complaint has nothing to do with the workers at the golf course. Kyle and his crew…

Decent golf course. Some of the greens are a little rough but they are getting better. I don't particularly like the GPS carts because they don't give you enough warning before they shut off. So it's a bit of a pain. I know they are needed to try keep the course maintained but give a little more warning.

It used to be a nice course.... sad the greens have basically died off, range has died off, doesn't seem like they care to take care of the place. Literally 2 or 3 greens out of the 18 are completely dead/un puttable muddy, patchy, dead Been a member out there for years and loved Mt home course really sad to say this but it's not really even worth paying to play there anymore.

If you want to play golf in Milledgeville, you can either join the country club or you can play here. There are no other options. I play here regularly, and I enjoy it. It’s a municipal course and the green fees are inexpensive, so adjust your expectations accordingly. If there has been enough rain, the fairways are fairly nice. It is difficult to predict the speed of the greens. They can range from very slow to pretty fast. Hole # 14 is my favorite and #5 is also nice. #18 is possibly the worst designed hole I’ve ever played. You can hit a beautiful tee shot straight down the center of the fa…

I've been golfing here for years, on and off. The course is on a downhill run right now and nothing is being done about it. The prices for a weekday are pretty much the same as the weekend and the course is not in good shape. They run out of range balls before the afternoon a more often than not and for how much they charge you would expect them to be able to function properly. It's way easier and more enjoyable to run 15 - 20 min up the road to Lake janesco and get a happy face greeting you and a course that matches the price. I hope LFC can fix their problems because they have potential and…

Nice course and the staff are great. And for all of you hating on the greens I can tell you haven't played here lately. Course is fine and the greens are 100% better.
