WOW! This was our first time playing this course and we had so much fun! The undulating hills, the tiny greens, the gains and losses in elevation each hole: all made for a challenging and super enjoyable game! The fabulous views were a plus as well,. We will be back!

Great course and layout that uses the hilly terrain to challenge you while providing tremendous views. We met the new owners and they were really nice. We could already see the improvements they made in a short time so looking forward to seeing more positive changes in the future. My wife got this pic of my son teeing off with the historic Inn as the back drop.

Greens were in good shape but fairways are very rough, bumpy and not mowed down. The people are great. Tough course, uphill or downhill shots.

I highly recommend a round of golf at Lucerne Golf Course in Dedham, Maine. Played it on a quiet and rainy day, the owner David was kind to let me out. The course was plush and natural. Not overly manicured which fit the Donald Ross design beautifully. Holes 4 and 5 are special. You cross the street over looking Phillips Lake to an elevated tee box par 4. The second shot has an elevation drop to a small green tucked into the woods. You’re definitely not out of the woods around that green until you put the ball in the hole. Once you settle it in there and put whatever score you got down, hole…

Challenging course. Not a level shot anywhere. This one makes me humble. Definitely going back for more.

Challenging and hilly but oh the views! Only the first green in poor shape. Rest were all really good.

Don’t come here if you’re looking for a hotdog, 🌭 not one glizzy out here on Father’s Day. No one wants to split the round up with their overpriced food across the street. See photo for proof of lack of said dogs

The views are great but that’s it. Many greens were not cut level, you could see uneven level cutting. Plus several greens had severe burned out spots( can’t they water the greens?). Fairways are not smooth at all, very bumpy. There were sand traps that had weeds in them. The tee boxes were in bad shape too. Crab grass everywhere on the T boxes. This is too bad, so much potential but there was not much good to say about it, only the views. When I asked about the season, all I heard was a bad winter. A little bit of care and watering would go a long way. The price was cheap, which explained…

Played golf for EHS here back when I was in school, course was super hilly but still enjoyable. Only downside is that my feet hurt by the end of every practice
