In summary

Rocky Knoll Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere. The front nine is noted for being straightforward and walkable, while the back nine offers a more challenging layout with strategic hazards. While many appreciate the quality of the food and the reasonable prices at the on-site bar, some visitors feel the course fees are higher compared to similar venues in the area, and a few have pointed out the need for improvements on certain greens.

2nd visit - Stopped in with my wife and MIL for a quick dinner. We were seated quickly and offered menus. The ladies both had the Margheritas while I had a local Geaghan's ale. I tried the steak bomb and the ladies had the steak wrap and cheeseburger wrap. None of us were disappointed! Coupled with fresh crinkle-cut fries it hit the spot! They have a signature steak sauce which resembles Worcestershire...I liked it for dipping my fries. Looks like their darts night is taking off...they have a nice set-up.

Updating my review - was one of the first courses I played early this season and the conditions weren’t 100%. I also felt the course wasn’t better than neighboring courses that I play for less money. Have since returned and was impressed the conditions despite the hot dry summer we’ve had. Front 9 is open and easy to play. Haven’t tried the back yet. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a beer and bite after my round too. I’ll return to play more as long as I’m walking. The cart fees are a bit much compared to other courses.

fantastic atmosphere!! Course was an exceptional shape despite the poor conditions we’ve had weatherwise with lack of rain. Greens were excellent!! Biggest thing I noticed was how exceptional the people were around the course and the staff compared to other golf courses in the area!!

Decent course for the area, as long as the greens are kept up and they stop kids from messing around on it. However, the price is significantly higher then other private golf clubs in the area. We used to enjoy playing here, but unfortunately we can get more for our money at other private golf clubs and destination golf clubs with better greens and 18 holes for almost half the cost of 9 holes here.

We have been here twice. It is very nice, VERY clean. Bartender is very sweet and helpful. Now to the best part. The prices are outstanding and the food is the best we've had in a very long time! Wings are the best we've had. Scale of 1-10 (these are NOT the prices!) Wings 10 Steak & cheese wrap 10 Cheeseburger wrap 8 Loaded fries 10 Fried pickles 7 Chicken burger 5 Cheeseburger 8 Can't wait to try the taco wrap. WE had 2 apps, 2 wraps, 1 beer, LARGE, under $50 and the quality is very good. New favorite place

Played a Tournament yesterday and conditions could not have been better. Even more impressive, had the opportunity to talk with the owners and how engaged they are. Great staff, great track! If you haven’t played it check it out!

Really not a fan of the back 9. I dont like having to place a ball exactly in a specific spot except the green. It is designed as a much harder 9 than the front and that is ok, just not a fan. Lack of water in the fairways make it hard as a rock. Break a tee on every tee off, if you can drill it into the grass, where there is grass. Maybe tell the boys taking care of your carts not to smoke soo much pot as they ( or at least one of them) is not treating the carts with much respect. I dont really care if someone smokes pot, but not at work, not very professional. Course, overall, is just medioc…

Everything about Rocky Knoll is top-notch. The friendly owners and staff make it very easy to want to stick around. The wet rainy season has not diminished their ability to keep the course in fabulous condition. The best shape since starting to play golf 15 years ago. My only complaint is too many people 🙉 about it so it doesn't feel like my private course anymore.

A bit overpriced for the area.($42 to ride 9) You can cross the bridge and pay $27 to ride 9 on a championship course. Would like to see carts equipped with range finders at this price.

Course is in good shape. Id give it a 5 but a couple of the greens need some love. So 4 1/2. Front 9 is pretty straight forward. And the back nine is the exact opposite. Gives a good mix of straight fairways and flat greens then the back switches over to challenging doglegs and a couple ravine hazards with difficult greens. Definitely recommend playing if your in the area. If you like walking the front 9 is perfect for it.

So far have only played a twilight round but it was definitely a fun 9 holes. Very soggy course conditions currently (May 2019) so I definitely want to come back and get a full round in when it dries out a bit. Very walkable, no big hills. Not quite pristine but in decent shape, just ignore the dandelions. Added bonus: nice and close to Mason’s Brewery
