In summary

Maple River Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and a variety of challenging holes that cater to different skill levels. The course offers a scenic setting with a mix of tree-lined and open fairways, though some find the layout slightly confusing. Criticisms include occasional slow pace of play, difficulty securing tee times due to frequent tournaments, and issues with drainage and maintenance after rain.

Generally well maintained. A few greens, tee boxes, fairways were perfect conditions. Rarely an area on a green with mild thinning. There were quite a few areas of mud in fairways after recent rain. A few of the holes didn't make good golf sense as they had to be built around public and natural waterways, but they weren't boring. Clubhouse is clean, updated, somewhat limited golf equipment stock.

Place blows. Book online figuring we had carts in price. Then find out 25 per person per cart and get yelled at by a so call employee being to close to greens as we weren’t. I’ll stay in Fargo!!

I little dry this year but the greens were good. Not too challenging.

Nice workers, bad maintenance. The ground was very wet, they still mowed. The grass was so long even after they mowed so I could never find my ball. Still got charged full price after hole 8 and 9 were all underwater. We tried to go the day before but had to leave after the third hole, we waited an hour to get to hole three.

I booked my tee time the night before to walk 18 holes at 9:04 and arrived 10 min early. I went into the club house and the man tells me I can only golf if I join the group that’s to tee off ahead of me which has a cart. So I either pay an extra $25 to get a cart and golf with people I don’t know or don’t golf. I asked for a rain check and he said we don’t do that. I asked for a refund and he also said he couldn’t do that either. I had to call my card holder and cancel the pending transaction. They over booked the golf course for profit. Cram as many people on as you can.

By far worst course in the Fargo area. Not only were the fairways covered in potholes but the ridiculous price of $65 for a full round is the biggest rip off I’ve ever seen. I’ll die a happy man if I never see this course again

We almost passed this course up as it seems flat and in the middle of nowhere. I’m giving it 4 stars for value. The course was very well kept with nice fast greens and plenty of hazards. Straight tee shots are needed to avoid the tree lined fairways. Pace of play was good and bathrooms were clean. We live in Florida but would definitely play again if passing through.

Very nice public course. Some greens were in great shape, others were in really rough shape. Skinny fairways. Have tree protected and half exposed. Greens have a lot of undulation in them. 18 plus cart was 57 on Saturday morning

I played in the Pink Ribbon Scramble which was my first time at the course. It's a beautiful course and a really good time. For such a nice course it still has a small town feel, which is very welcoming. Thanks for the fun event!

Thought my tee time was 5 minuets later than it was and they wouldn't let us play. Additionally we paid online and they were not able to issue a refund.

I've played all the courses in and around the Fargo area, this is by far my favorite. The staff and members are the best around. Good variety of challenging holes for any level of play. Well worth the short drive to this track!

Pace of play needs to be addressed. Everytime I have golfed here have had issues with groups getting stacked up. Almost feels like they want to just be a private course because always have tournaments, very hard for the public to get a tee time.
