What People Say

In summary

The Meadows Public Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and challenging links-style layout, with particular attention given to the middle six holes. The course is noted for its reasonable rates and helpful amenities, such as GPS-equipped golf carts. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the lack of water hazard markings and occasional issues with staff attitude and service availability, such as the timing of the beverage cart.

Nice course. Very links style. Course is divided into 3, 6 hole areas; the middle 6 are pretty tough. Greens are in good shape. Good course overall. Very nice range. Plenty big and never busy so always nice grass.

Rude and nasty manager. Government-owned golf course where poor attitudes are typical. Save your money go somewhere else

Very nice golf course with reasonable rates. The entire course is well taken care of from the tee boxes to the pins. Golf carts come with GPS for no additional charge...a very helpful feature. The only drawback was a lack of large trees and hills, but you can't expect much more than flat plains here in the river valley. UPDATE: I was to this course on May 10 (early golfing in this part of the country) and the tee boxes were a little tore up, but the greens were actually in great shape.

The course overall is decent. My main issue is the lack of marking water hazards. All over the course you have to guess if there's a water hazard in the distance. A river even snakes back and forth on a hole around hills and across the fairway with no way to tell where the water is. Poor job done by the people running the course.

Best clubhouse starter EVER! Actually gives a rip about golfers, fun dude, concerned about the weather, etc.. Great employee Moorhead, pay to keep him ..

The two golf courses in Moorhead, The Meadows and Village Green, are great to play. Both courses offer 18 holes and you can play a round for $30 with cart Monday thru Friday before 11 am (excluding holidays). Both courses are challenging, with the Meadows a Links course.

I decided to take a brief waltz through and had a very pleasant, relaxing time. Even managed to drive a couple balls down the fairway. The homeless people could rest in piece here without any issue.

Hot day on the course with no bev cart is ridiculous. Called the pro shop at the turn and guy says that bev cart doesnt start till 3 pm. Wont be returning.

I didn't golf, I got a flat tire in their parking lot. I went in side and talked with the employees and they were very nice and the food smelled good.

The driving range is awesome but I've just had trouble with unattentive golfers taking up the parking lot with golfcarts. 2 carts almost hit my car while I was trying to park.

One of the best public courses in fargo-moorhead. It's always in good shape and it's a challenging course especially the back nine.
