In summary

Marion Oaks Country Club is noted for having a layout that might have once been appealing, but the current condition of the course is overwhelmingly criticized. Many visitors report that the course is poorly maintained, with issues such as dead grass, unplayable greens, and overgrown areas, leading to an overall negative experience. It appears the facility has been neglected, with some describing it as abandoned or closed.

Warrior Asset Management should be ashamed of itself offering this facility as a golf course. There were absolutely no "plush tree lined fairways, and smooth, true greens." The course was a total misrepresentation and its condition is disgraceful. Evidently the course has been for sale for an extended time, and the owners have decided to spend no money. So nothing is either irrigated or maintained. I'm age 65 and this is the worst example of a golf course that I've ever seen.

Nice course layout and might have been a nice course at one time...... HOWEVER Golf 18 should be ashamed of themselves for actually having a course this bad on their listings. There was no green grass and everything was dead. Greens we not playable. Any online pictures showing green grass is not up to date.... just dead grass, sand and dust.

You think playing on this golf course is bad? Try living with them in your back yard where they never mow their property between yours and their fairway. The weeds are so high. Looks nothing like their website, total misrepresentation of what it really looks like. I have asked them several times to take care of this situation but all they do is ignore me.I guess they don't care if they are one of the worst golf courses in the county. Don't waste your money playing here unless they make it truly look like their website advertises.

stay away, the course is a toxic waste dump. it would not even make a good cow pasture. i have never seen a course in such a state of dis-repair. greens are like dirt roads. fairways are filled with sand. there is nothing here that resembles a golf course. does not even deserve 1 star.

Do not play this course, it is in terrible condition. No grass on the tee and fairways and the greens are terrible. The conditions of this course has deteriorated since the last time I played it in April and it doesn't look like it will be any better anytime soon. It should be a less than 1 star.

Since my wife owns a piece of vacant property less than 200 yards from what once was the MOCC Club House, we included a stop in Marion Oaks during a recent 8-day, whirlwind trip to Florida for the first time in 15 years. OMG! What an absolute abandoned and overgrown-with-weeds mess it has become! It reminded me of a “Ghost Town” that was deserted during the “Gold Rush” out West during the 18th Century! We’re going to sell my wife’s 1/3-acre and wash our hands of that neighborhood; I pity the poor folks whose homes face that eye-sore and have to live with it. Needless to say: forget about pl…

This is no golfcourse!!! The greens and fairways are in so bad shape, this course is doomed to close. Yesterday , that is. Don't waste your money here, safe yourself a lot of annoyance. May 2016

One of the worst golf courses I have ever played!!!!. The management should pay you to play there. We had 28 to 40 golfers playing there 4 years, and now they have lost our business because of the horizon conditions. So long Warrior.

Absolutely the poorest maintained golf course I have ever been on. I wouldn't play it again if it were free. Apparently owned by Warrior Golf. They should be ashamed.

Waste of time and money. No grass in fairways or tee boxes. Greens are in the worst shape I've ever been on. Course not being taken care of at all.
