Love the layout. Tee boxes and greens get 3⭐️. Very nice woman in the Pro Shop, Gaye gets 5⭐️. Great price for afternoon tee time.

Played here for the first time on 3/1/26. Not sure why there aren't recent reviews for this course but something has gone horribly awry with the condition. I've never played a course in worse condition. Front nine was the worst. No grass anywhere to speak of. Greens full of weedy tufts knocking ball off course. I like the layout but they need to spend some money getting this place back in playing condition.

I had a wonderful time playing at Spruce Creek Preserve Golf Club! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made for a great start to the day. The layout of the course is enjoyable and offers a good challenge for any golfer. The greens are in decent condition, making for an overall smooth play experience. One of the highlights is the path—hit straight, and it's perfect! But beware, a little right or left, and you'll find yourself in the thick of the weeds. Despite that, it adds to the fun and challenge of the game. Definitely worth a visit!

I played this course 06/10/25. The front 9 was closed for aeration which we were never told about when I called to make the tee time or until after I paid and got my range balls. "Oh, by the way the front 9 are closed so you'll have to play the back 9 twice". When I got to the 12th green, there was no flag visible on the green. As you can see in the attached photos, not only wasn't there a cup or flag on the green, but THERE WAS NO GREEN! I later found the flag and the cup on the ground by the bunker (which if you notice is full of weeds). The tee boxes were uneven and the greens were in terri…

The course is in bad shape. Some fairways look more like a parking lot. Sparse grass and what is there is in bad shape. The greens are even worse. Huge dead spots and lots of invasive grass makes it terrible for putting. The layout is not too bad. It is fairly short yardage and the greens are quite small. I don't recommend playing until they fix a lot of problems. Definitely wasn't worth my $40.

1 star is being generous. Tee boxes were mostly dirt, fairways dirt and patches of crab grass, greens had hole areas that probably hold water and crab grass and weeds, extremely bumpy when trying to putt. Will never go back

1 star is being nice. Best part was the golf carts. Every tee box was overgrown, fairways were for the most part worse than being in the rough by the trees. Greens were covered with crab grass and some holes you were in the sand not even level some 1-2” deep and in a mini bunker…you couldn’t even attempt to putt given the conditions of the greens.

One of the worst maintained courses for what they charge. $40 to have to search for your ball in the fairway. The tee boxes are way over grown. The bunker lips are just way over grown. Deer feeders right on the side of the fairway lol. The only good thing I can say is that the greens were very nice. Some had patches but over all, good. Priced way to high though. Wont be back.

Worse conditions I've ever played on. Couldn't tell where the greens stopped and fringe weeds started. Absolutely terrible
