In summary

On Top of the World Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained golf courses, diverse layouts, and friendly staff. The community offers a wide range of amenities, including a pool and pickleball courts, which residents and visitors find enjoyable. However, some concerns are raised about high fees and traffic around the area, and a few find the community environment not to their preference.

The courses are always in great shape unlike the one writing the review. The Links is straightforward going 9 out and 9 back. Easily walkable if it not 100 degrees out . The Tortoise and Hare has an awkward layout seems to be designed by a platypus. After heavy rains, 2 holes on the back are shortened to par 3s to save the wet areas from idiots in carts.

Ever escalating HOA fees,,, high water and sewer Fees,, which just got increased also,,, but meanwhile ken colen is building out 5000 homes in calesa with no problem to make more millions, worshipping the Almighty Dollar, Never Enough, for Ken,colen, don't move into this community, it's getting way over priced, other communities offer a lot of ammenities for way less, like oak run, save your money By living Else where,, you'll be glad you did.

Massive traffic around perimeters of the area. Neighborhood streets were empty, looked deserted, desolate, and void of all life. I suppose everyone was indoors. No trees taller than the waves upon waves of rooftops, landscapes covered by rocks with short clumps of green scattered here n there, mostly encircled by paver stones. Apparently, it is a suitable place for many... The amenities of a pool seemed rather crowded but clean. Restaurant meal was very good, however they had to close the kitchen because it was 100° . Poor cooks. I could not thrive in a community environment like that.

Questionable hype and perception of so called social status. Community appears well kept and very quiet. Landscaping is meticulous throughout the varied sections. Careful of golf cart traffic as driving habits can be very erratic at best......

We are World Golf Members which gives us playing privileges at The Links, The Tortoise and the Hare and Candler Hills. Each course has it’s own identity. Each course is a fair test of your golf skills without being crazy hard.
