Oak Run Country Club

I rented in Oak Run this winter season and would never buy. No sidewalks or nature trails, so walking means dodging traffic, and the ONLY heated pool has been “getting fixed” for nine months. Residents seem more committed to keeping fees low than keeping the community livable, yet somehow still find energy to post rude yard signs about dogs. If you want a cheap place to slowly wait your turn for heaven while watching TV and grass grow, welcome home.

The scenery is great, I visit my parents here. Pleased with the activities they were able to very involved in while active. Good security.

So happy to have found my home here! Oak Run has beautiful terrain throughout the development. Wonderful neighbors, plenty of activities, everything I could want. So close to everything I need and enjoy, yet tucked away in serenity. Peaceful living at its best.

Neighbors are encouraged to turn in their fellow neighbors who they feel are not living by the rules, i.e grass too high, house and/or driveways must be pressure washed, ornamental statue on front lawn, etc. While at the same time the 3 entrances to our "gated" community are unsupervised, protected only by an automatic gate, that consists of a narrow wooden thatgoes up and down that anyone and everyone can wslk through, bicyclle by, or xrive through by simply hitting the hate which snaps easily, there's a line of dead/dying/trees at the entrance, the restrooms are original, built in the 1990's…

I just played Royal Oaks Golf Course for the first time since early March. The course is not groomed in any way. The tee boxes have not been moved in over three weeks and lots of dirt and dry spots. The green are dry and in need of water I have not seen any workers on the course at all and it looks it. This golf course is one of the few revenue makers for Oak Run. Who is responsible for the golf course. Did they cut the budget so tight they can’t hire workers?

Great place to live. Many amenities and wonderful people.

We had a Valentine dinner at the Oak Run Bar and Grill. Two people in party. First of all we were hoping that the latest reopening after kitchen fire would improve the food and atmosphere. We believe the dinners were prepackaged and delivered to the restaurant as the food was tasteless and visibly unappealing. No salad or water was given. The lobster tail dinner had an oil that appeared to be cooking oil.was served instead of butter. Also served with a bunch of cooked garlic. Horrible.

You leave messages no one ever calls you back You can't walk into the office to get help It's ridiculous They keep moving the gate reade. I've had to move my sticker to get in my development 15 or 20 times it doesn't work anymore I've left messages and no one's called me back It's absolutely ridiculous I love this place it's spacious it's beautiful but I'm very unhappy with the way we have to contact them I'm not an email person text only.

Lots of activities and close to many shops and restaurants off hwy 200. HOA price is fair. Many good clubs to join.

Really nice community and beautiful place to retire

I went to the gym. It's a very nice clean gym but lacks a squat bar and a couple of other things.

I live here and have for 13 years. I am not visiting.
